Thanks. Good to know others have experienced something similar. It is so confusing for sure. I just want to feel normal again so I can get on with life but these crazy, lingering symptoms are preventing that and are also a very potent reminder of my loss.

Hey, just thought I'd update on how things are going.

So, symptoms are still lingering about, actually more than that, they are still progressing and getting worse. AF is due in four days so I guess we'll see then. No cramping though or my usual AF niggling pain I would expect around now.

I ended up going to a new GP on Thursday afternoon. Much better but she was confused also so sent an urgent referral to an gynecologist and I managed to get in on the Friday. He was not so good unfortunately. Didn't believe I could of been pregnant on the pill and was very dismissive. Said HPTs were incorrect and unreliable anyway so I should just disregard them completely. He ran a Beta HCG anyway when I insisted on it just in case but was not too happy about it. He reckons my symptoms come down to the pill itself and my body is not agreeing with it so suggested and has put me on a lower dose combined contraceptive pill. Hopefully he's theory is right and this helps with the symptoms which are becoming painful and annoying. I just want to move on now from this pregnancy business but with these sore boobs and nausea and all the rest of it, I'm constantly reminded of it.

I also am a little scared of this whole lower dose pill in the sense that if I did get pregnant on the higher dose, I could have a great chance of falling pregnant again with a lower dose. I don't want it to happen again but I don't really have any other options so partner and I have agreed to use condoms as well whenever we DTD *sigh* I hate the things but guess I'll just have to live with it for peace of mind.

The one the GP ran nearly 2 weeks ago was not 0 but was as good as negative at 1. I haven't received the results of the Beta HCG the gynecologist did yet so I don't know to be honest. It's most likely going to be negative though. I'm sure if it, I just want all my bases covered.
