I'm exhausted after every day of work and ready to hit the lounge by the afternoon, and I'm worried about what the fatigue and stress levels are doing to my body. Dr M said that being overtired and stress are both bad for pregnancy.
Has anyone else cut back on work before and found it helped?? Did Dr M suggest it?

    Hi Pink6
After 3 years ttc and 4 miscarriages I cut my full time job down to 18.5hrs over three days. Now 24 weeks with rainbow thanks to Dr M and probably also down to the far lesser stress levels I had with less work. If you can afford it and your job is flexible enough to let yp I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Good luck! X

@Mongol. Interesting what you've been Saying about Dr b in the us. Did you ever consult dr B? Did you ever end up having his immune panel testing ? I'm think about perhaps getting it done. But my understanding is that it needs to be done via dr S in Bondi junction

Faith750, you're right, Dr B works with Dr S in Australia but I'm sure you can reach out to him directly for a free 15 minute Skype consult (you can get the details from Dr B's website). I did get the immune panel testing which revealed a few issues. Dr B has given me a FET protocol which I'll be following when I reach that stage. Let me know if you want to know anything else.

@Mongol and @Faith750 I'm getting very interested in more testing and wondering if I should get Dr Bs testing done too.

Do you mind sharing how much it costs? Also do you think best to go straight to him or through Dr Sacks?

Can Dr M do all these tests too?

Girls has anyone had an endometrial biopsy with Dr M?

I need to get done after 9 failed cycles (at end of my tether) but wondering how comprehensive his test is and how much it was?

I want to compare it to Dr Sacks tests and getting done at a clinic closer to home (I'm NNSW), which seems pretty basic.

    Thanks heaps

    @ mummanow and @Mongol

Hi saw Dr Sacks for a second opinion yesterday. I am already seeing a fertility specialist near where I live in Newcastle.

A bit of my background. TTC for 15 months. 3 miscarriages along the way. Testing for causes of miscarriage has only shown some endometriosis, ANA mildly +, MTHFR C677T heterozygous. Started on low dose aspirin and clexane. Also on prenatal supplements. I'm 36 going onto 37 this year.

My first fertility specialist thinks that endo may be the problem hence got it removed, lap excision last week. If no luck then he's thinking of starting IVF.

Went to see sacks about the immune testing by braverman. However, he said that he didn't think I need it! He thought that I was a routine case and didn't need the immune testing which he said is not based on much evidence! Anyways he's advice was to keep trying or do IVF with PGS! He also suggested progesterone pessaries.

So @Mongol, how are you following Dr Braverman's guidelines? Is your current fertility specialist happy for you to follow the protocol. Where will you go back to get the further immune tests that are needed during the pregnancy? Are you going back to get the tests done from Sacks? Can you get Bravermans tests done with your current fertility specialist?
@mummanow, the tests are quite costly, about 3000 for registration and 5000 for the tests, so I think comes to about AUD 10 000. But it may be worth it?

I'm not sure what's the difference between braver man vs Dr M's immune panel? Anyone done both?

Hi mummanow - I just had a biopsy with Dr M. It cost $300 for anaesthetic and $400 (I think) out of pocket costs for him. I have health insurance so that's what I paid for the gap
My results came back with elevated nk56? And partial dq match with my husband through our bloods.

Dr M has recommended neupogen for our next DE cycle. Has anyone has success with this?

I'm already on dex, clexane, intralipids. This will be our fifth try coming up and want to do everything! He said LIT not needed at this stage and IVIG will happen after a (hopefully) positive blood test. He also said not to take Provera (artificial progesterone which I've been taking for all other failed cycles). So I really hope this makes a difference!!

@Sunshine14 thanks heaps for letting me know!
Did he results include more than just the NK 56 do you know?
Also did it cause much pain? And does it effect cycle or not? And finally what day did you have to have it done on?
Have you used any other immune treatment on prior DE cycles? I'm wanting to be sure any immune issues known of and treated prior to moving to DE (may do more OE cycle) as I'm sure it would suck finally making decision for DE and sorting everything and it still not working!!

Interesting about not using Provera. I've not heard of it. Did he suggest compounded progesterone?

Wishing you best of luck hon!!
