    @mummanow, I can't even begin to explain the despair I felt when Dr NL told us this. He said we had a complete match. TBH, I still don't quite understand what complete and partial matches are. I cancelled my wedding because I couldn't function with the thought that I would never be a mother. He said Primary IVF won't work because I needed intralipids and LIT plus PGD testing (Primary are bulk billed) and booked us in for a cycle with him at a cost of 10K, which we didn't have. Plus I'm almost 40 years old. I'm still on his waiting list for my 3rd appointment with him! Let me know if any of you want it! Feb 2! I would love to tell him he was wrong but I better keep my mouth shut til I'm 12 weeks (Feb 4).
    @EllePea, read this: http://haveababy.com/fertility-infor...nd-ivf-outcome

    Basically my fiancé and I share the same DQ alpha gene which means my body thinks that any embryo made with his sperm is my own body but with a cancer or something else that's foreign. So when the embryo tries to implant, my natural killer cells are activated and my body throws it out, or the embryo never implants. I took 25mg Prednisolone and have just halved it as of last week.

    @KittyCat that's amazing news! Congrats. Miracles do happen!

    I've been booked in for intralipids on day 13 of this cycle, my lining scan is on day 12 (couldn't get intralipids apt that day). I'm doing a day 3 transfer but not entirely sure when that will be as this is my first HRT FET no earlier than day 15 obviously. Initially FS was saying intralipids 1 week prior to transfer but because we don't actually know when that'll be do you think day 13 is too late? Day 10/11 are the weekend so only other option would be day 9 which is probably too early.

    Hi ladies does anyone know how to interpret HLA matches? Apparently we are a partial match but from these reports I am not so sure

    Mine is
    DQB1 03.06
    DQA1 01.03

    And husband is
    DQB1 02
    DQA1 02.05

    @nattie84, who requested the test for you? I don't see a match in those numbers? I actually can't even interpret mine, lol!

    Dr NL said we are a complete match for 01:03. I don't think he knows what he's talking about. But your numbers don't even match?! I'm pregnant BTW so take this with a grain of salt!

    Your results format seem different to mine too? You know what I was reading a blog post by dr braverman in the US and his opinion is unless you check other various matches that it doesn't mean crap... I'm starting to think doctors just want $$

    Really? Send me the link! This result spiralled me into a deep depression for no reason! My test was done via Dorevitch and Red Cross. Dr NL said even though I got pregnant (via IVF) this is extremely rare and that I should go back to him for further treatment!
