@mummanow, I agree, it was surprising but good that he is keen on Dr M's opinion! And I was even more relieved that they're generally suggesting the same protocol for me- I don't know what I would have done if they thought completely different things.

I'm going to have to call Dr M's receptionist to see if I can get his opinion without having to book another phone consult...

    Default Plaquinil

    Hi ladies,

Re Plaquinil, I have just started it on the advice of my haematologist and Dr LB. Adding it in with a lower dose of prednisone for my upcoming stim cycle. I saw the haematologist for a suspected t-cell imbalance, but my bloods returned to normal out of nowhere. The only thing I can point to is I stopped eating gluten (I have the gene for coeliacs, but my Dr doesn't think that would do it). Trying plaquinil because it's safe, I probably have some kind of immune response, and my haematologist has had some very good results with it in women with odd immune symptoms. I hope it's the silver bullet for me! I had a bit of a headache when I first took it but I'm feeling totally normal now. Best of luck!!

Hi EllePea, can you pm me who your heamatologist is? I have a number of blood disorders that are immune related and would appreciate someone with experience in immune related disorders. Hope all goes well on your journey! x

Default High Natural Killer Cells #9

My fiancé and I have two matches 01:03. NL said we have no chance or 8% chance if I do intralipids and LIT. I did a lot of crying, asked my sister and my cousins to be a surrogate, talked to NL about sperm donor and then fell pregnant on my first cycle of ivf (tried naturally for almost 2 years) with just Prednisolone and Clexane (through Primary IVF). I'm now 9 weeks. Fingers crossed I don't miscarry. I guess I'm just saying not to give up hope!

Just 10mg daily now. On previous cycles I've been on 20mg and on 1mg of Dexamethasone (which I upped to 1.5 on advice of Dr M) but no dice so far.
