I can't remember all of them but the ones I can were:
    - dexamethasone not sure of dose but prednisone was 25mg
    - clexane 60 (was 40 the first round I did with Dr M and he upped it)
    - melatonin 4mg
    - progesterone pessaries 2 x 400 a day (this is a lot! Upper from 2x200 for the first round)
    - intralipids infusion done by Dr M so was 500ml over 5 hrs plus the saline before and after.

Most people are off intralipids and steroids by 15 weeks but my levels were so bad I was on steroids until around 25 weeks and intralipids the entire pregnancy.

I need to order all my records from previous GP but haven't got around to it yet.

    Good luck!

Thank you @Giraffez! Yes it was a 3D scan with luminance to get the nice smooth orange effect.
Ok so I have a list of meds
    - melatonin and DHEA 50MG for 2-3 prior. I was waiting for cycle #6 and fell naturally. DH has been taking menevit for 3 months prior too.
    - We had 3 LIT treatments 2 initially and a top up in March 2016
    After BFP
    - Clexane 40mg daily
    - Dexamethasone 3 tabs daily and the 25mg predisone from 9 weeks
    - Neupogen injections daily (based on WBC levels)until 14 weeks
    - Progesterone pessaries 1200mg daily (just weaned off them now)
    - Intralipids every 4 weeks with 1 round of IVIG at 9 weeks. Has my last doses around 3 weeks ago
    - Vitamins Elevit, calicum and Vit D.

My problem was not getting pregnant as this is my 8th pregnancy (1st time this far) it was keeping them.
Wishing you the best of luck! Xx

    Hi ladies,

I asked my FS (via her nurse) today about incresing the prednisolone to 25mg from 10mg and she said that my FS (Lynn Burmeister) isn't a big fan of increasing them but sometimes she might start with 10mg and increase closer to the transfer. Reason being is that apparently there is some correlation between higher does and the baby developing cleft lip/palette, I had never heard this before.

I did also ask about intralipids and it seemed like the nurse said LB might let me do it this time.

She's made a huge change to my protocol for my next cycle so much so half of it I hadn't even heard of before! Glad I am just on the pill over chrissy/ny so I don't have to think so hard. There will be so much for me to remember to take once the cycle starts!!!

The cleft palette risk increases from the normal 1% risk without to steroids to a 2% chance on steroids. So yes it is an increased risk but it's not huge.

I don't recommend a high dose of steroids for egg pick up though as I landed in emergency the night of mine (4th stim so I knew something was wrong/different) with severe internal bleeding and had to do a freeze all and do a few nights in hospital. This was caused by the steroids and fish oil vitamins.

    Default Dr M and Dexamethasone

    Hi ladies,
I've just started (today) a cycle on Dr M's protocol and I'll be having an FET in a few weeks.

Those who have used dexamethasone- did you have any side effects??
About a half an hr after taking my first tablet today I felt really anxious, as if I was having a panic attack.

    Thanks x

Hi@Pink6, is your FS okay to work with Dr M? What's the protocol? I'm on 25mg Prednisolone and can't stop eating and my heart races a bit. Sounds like Dex is a lot stronger and you're definitely having side effects from it. What dose are you on?

My FS doesn't even know that I'm seeing Dr M as they told me that they didn't believe in natural killer cells. Dr M suggested that I not even tell them as it would just confuse the situation. If successful, he has me changing to prednisone at about 9 weeks. The dex doses are different to pred- I'm on 0.5mg three times a day.

Dexamethasone is alot stronger than pred. In saying that I was on 1.5mg dex last fet with Dr M and I had less side effects on it than pred. Everyone is different. When I weaned off the dex though after the cycle failed it was much worse for me than weaning off Pred the last 4 cycles. Hopefully the side effects settle for you

    Hi everyone,

I'm new here but unfortunately not new to the IVF roller coaster. I've just had my fourth failed overseas donor egg cycle with not even a chemical pregnancy - just a resounding negative.
I've had four transfers; one blighted ovum, one chemical and two nothings.
I've always had clexane, aspirin, intralipids, prednisone and this cycle I saw Dr M and he prescribed dexamethasone (instead of pred) thyroxine and folinic acid (due to my MTHFR, thrombophilia, NK cells, hashimotos)

I'm just writing to see whether anyone of you on here are seeing Dr M for implantation issues or if it is for miscarriage? I cant seem to make these perfect embryos stick! I've read about alloimmune issues and the DQ alpha match which apparently can affect donor egg cycles (although previously I was told it doesn't) I know that there is IVIG therapy and LIT - just don't know if these can help me get past the 2ww to help the embryos and for me to not destroy them

    I feel so helpless.
