I can't remember the exact timing of the meds but I was on
LIT for the dq alpha match
3x 0.5 dexamethasone until 8-9 weeks then switched to prednisone until close to 20 weeks
Neupogen injections until about 15 weeks
Clexane 80mg until a week before c section
Progesterone ranging from 400-1200mg at different times
Baby aspirin (due to pre eclampsia in a previous pregnancy)
IVIG a few days before transfer and every 3-4 weeks until 34 weeks (yes I'm broke)
Vitamins: calcium, coq10, folate, preg vitamin
I also had an endo scratch on cd4 with my fs to help implantation
I had acupuncture weekly along with kinesiology which helped my anxiety immensely and completely changed my mindset.
Holy moly. Always freaks me out when I list everything I did. I do think that the switch to neupogen/dex was what made a real difference. I'd had a previous failed transfer without it.
What are your issues @Mongol? Sorry if you've already mentioned it, my memory is shot.

Omg @BB77 you must be broke after all that ivig treatment. Is Dex just a stronger version than pred? Now I'm wondering if I should be on that instead.

Yep over 30k just on ivig. But first cycle of ivf so evens out I guess, some people spend more after many cycles.
Dex and pred are both steroids, everyone says it's stronger but I'm guessing they must do slightly different things, otherwise why bother prescribing it? Can only be on it til around 8 weeks pregnant though, can have side effects if taken later.

Oh ok first cycle is good. We've already spent over $50k going overseas not to mention all the ivf treatments we have already done here. I'd hate to add it up its way too scary.

I am currently 20 weeks pregnant all because of Dr M...he is my miracle worker and I do not care what anyone else says after 7 MC with chromosonally normal embryos he got me where I am today. I was all prepared for a surrogate if I MC again.
I am still cautiously optimistic and scared something will happen but when I feel bubs tapping it brings me so much my joy!
Yes some may get confused with what he says but I take my note pad and write everything done and repeat it to make sure I am right. I also make my own suggestions that he takes on board or explains why it is not for me.
I would trust him 100% with maintaing a pregnancy even with a complete match!
I did 5 cycles of IVF with 9 transfers of 11 embryos ang got pregnant 5 times ( had 2 previous natural pregnancies) all ending in MC. My FS said didn't know what to do with me anymore and suggested a second opinion but I saw Dr M instead, she was happy to work with what he was doing
and also interested. She did her job of getting me pregnant several times my body was just failing me!
Sorry for long post...I just like to finish by saying I am a massive advocate for Dr M and Gwyneth, I don't care about what anyone says and I think sometimes on here it can be a bit much. They work hard and long hours for us and as someone said before we can't compare to eachother as we are all different.
Thank you lovely. Any experience I have had with Dr M has been wonderful I suppose I have lost faith in Dr NL. I keep being told by other ladies who have been successful with NL you have to go to him with what you want done!! I have no idea? I'm no specialist that's why we need to see someone. I'm frustrated. If and when we get to the point where Dr M steps in with his treatment I have no doubt he can help I just don't know what to do from here.

Congratulations on you pregnancy I love hearing these stories and at the end of the day that's what all of us desperately want do to hear it has happened to one of our girls it's like it has happened to us

Like I said in one of my other posts we are just at a cross roads as to who to go too.

I wonder if either your LH level or testosterone levels are high, which is having an impact on egg quality...

If I were you, I'd go and get your testosterone and LH along with FSH and DHEAS blood tests on day 3.

The LH:FSH ration should be 1:1. If it's 2:1, that's suggests your LH is too high and if it's the other way around, ie your FSH is higher, then you likely have low ovarian reserve.

DHEAS should not be too high either.

Your Sex Hormone Binding Globulin should not be too low either.

I did all these blood tests myself and in my case, I'm 40 and it's clearly egg quality issue..
Thank you for all that info lovely. I am on the way out to work but I will post a photo of my last protocol tonight there was so much in it.
Maybe with your help I can go armed to NL with what I need to get me across the line xx

    .
What a beautiful thing to say. If it makes you feel better, in all my time perusing these threads, there haven't been many (if any) who didn't get their baby. Keep going.

I started both 2 weeks before transfer. Dr M will give you exact run down but write in down cos I always forgot...lol.
However I got a natural BFP while waiting to cycle as they told me my hormones wete too high. I then started as soon as I found out which around 4 weeks.
