Correct @gorgeousgeorge and thank you! I took 25mg Pred and 40mg Clex. @cag14, no one knows if it will be successful you just have to try it and see as everyone is different. I only had a biopsy, not a blood test. There is nothing to worry about re Bondi Protocol, steroids aren't bad for you, although it's not great to take high doses long term. I took them til 12 weeks and all is good with my pregnancy. Good luck.
Hi KittyCat, I also saw GS and wanted recommendations for doctors in Melbourne with no luck. I'm curious to know who he recommended to you in Melbourne?

@cag14 I'm currently 18 weeks into my second pregnancy using prednisolone, clexane and aspirin during ICSI cycles. I don't have high NKC but I did have very high antinuclear antibodies with DD1, prothrombin gene mutation and antiphospholipid sydrome, all of which can cause miscarriage.

I had my ANA levels checked (plus other immune blood tests) before we started going through IVF again, and surprisingly they were barely elevated, considering a few years previously they were basically off the charts! I still insisted on using the prednisolone with this pregnancy just as a precaution, and it has worked for me twice now, so I encourage anyone with any sort of immune issues to try this protocol, but also to have their levels checked regularly when you're cycling.

My specialist said there is a new test for NK cells via bloods that is better than the old one and the biopsy. Is he right or has no idea? I'm going to ask Dr M when I see him in a few weeks.

@bubbletrouble- may I ask if the monitoring is done frequently through the embryo transfer stage ?

I am just on the start of it so transfer in two weeks. I have had 3 failed FET. And are using PGD tested eggs which we hardly get so I'm wondering if this will be a waste that's why I asked who is successful. This is my last three eggs and can't afford to waste them at any cost. But if I didn't do this test I feel we would of failed. My NKC were only tested no other immune issues? Should I test for more or will the bondi protocol be good for whatever comes up?

Sorry this is all new I have done 10 cycles with nothing like this before so worried.

I already kept my baby weight on so worried about the weight gain also
@nattie84 it must be what I had the bispoy was nothing the bloods were 25

@bubbletrouble worked twice so you have had successful cycles? How close from when you stated the meds did you fall? I'm only just starting so I'm wondering if I need a time to get it all in

Hi ladies can anyone assist with a good OB who is also a fertility specialist who is open to immune treatment? I'm a Dr M Patient and my FS isn't a FS so I'm not sure what to do when/if I get pregnant again.. When I recently fell naturally after many years of issues I hadn't seen Dr M in over a year so didn't know what to do and naively thought I didn't need the treatment... I want to be ready for next time.
