@Blossom74 Dear Stick Wh*re Captain, you'll be happy to know I've just pulled out and photographed my FRERs from the cycle I did Pregnyl boosters on, as a point of comparable visual reference. I still had a trace of Pregnyl at 6 days past the final 1500 booster. Boo!!

@Tahli, I found they didn't hurt as much as Orgalutran. I found Orgalutran needle to be thick and not very sharp which makes it harder to inject and it hurts for at least 30 minutes afterwards in my case. Whereas Neupogen was fine, though I had a very small dose. Have never taken Clexane so have no idea but I've heard they hurt and leave you bruised

@Caesardust I was thinking that removing the graduates from the list was the easiest way to shorten it too. I personally didn't take offense at all.
When I first started on bubhub there was a roll call of graduates. Part of me loved knowing that success was possible over 40 but at times it also made me sad to think I might be the only one of my contemporaries to not end up on the list. I really don't know the answer to the roll call dilemma.

I like @winsors idea of a list people can update themselves but not sure how that works. Will bubhub let us have a re-occurring link to an outside site? How will we grant access? etc. I do like the list though. Nice to know if you have a cycle buddy or to remember to ask the universe to help someone out. Having said that there was such a diversity of opinions on the list that I think bibv had the right idea of just leaving it alone. I actually feel like we almost need our own site. Warrior women IVF. Then divide it up into subheadings like: cycling, safe house, graduates, maybe even have seperate threads for TTC # 1 and secondary infertility. There would be a page for a supplement list (so we didn't have to requote it) and one on all the drugs, doses, times, uses and even some links to research on different drugs and protocols. But this is really just a pipe dream.

@FaithandhopeIlove and it can be financed by the ads of the rich clinics.. Im up for a new business if someone else wants a partnership. I constantly look to invent things to make life easier. I felt in my experience in IVF there is a huge gap in resources. I want to invent something that assists with the 2ww. I did suggest a calendar like the advent and each dpt we get a new inspiring quote and a chocolate! I will keep at it..

@Charlie74 I just wanted to jump in and say I'm so sorry to hear about the shock news. You seem to be holding up well considering but am glad you are in capable hands and hoping the plan proposed works. Your amazing the mountains you climb in order to get answers and complete treatments you definitely deserve a happy ending. I too think Monash as a whole is very greedy, I still can't believe there are shareholders profiting from this business so unethical.

I also had LB and did not think it was money worth spent, a bit of notoriety after celebrity donor pregnancy and consult fee tripled. Many of the nurses/embryologist that you deal with on a day to day business are young and fresh out of school. I had a huge disagreement with an embryologist at Monash who sounded about 18 on the phone. She called me up after performing ICSI and advised that out of the 10 eggs collected five looked typical whereas the other 5 had hard shells and would probably not survive the next day. The next day 5 embryos survived as expected from her comments. Well she noted on the computer that all eggs had hard outer shell but failed to mention that this was for 5 and 5 looked fine and typical. Therefore the nurse and LB decided that all my eggs were up **** creek. It took several weeks to track down the elusive original embryologist who performed ICSI and called me with the results To clarify what was said, I explained that her insufficient noting of the system lead my FS to wright me off. She apologised and said she would correct it but the damage was done, LB no longer wanted me on her books and I guess I'm lucky considering what I'm reading with @bib and @Charlie74.

It's just crappy after paying huge amounts of money that you are dealing with inexperienced scientists who can't even manage sensitive information, how many others does this happen to?!? We are relying on all of these medical players to relay correct detailed information which should be the simplest of jobs and that gets stuffed up.

    anyhoo that's my rant!

@BlondeinBrisvegas just to chime in about the roll call thank you, you've done an amazing job and to keep up and post and support everyone.

i personally like the roll call but because I don't post all the time, I do read along but play catch up some days and after I have got to the end I'm often exhausted and lost track of where everyone is at. Therefore I can't volunteer to take over so what will be will be with it.

i really only look at it to see where everyone's at and if anyone would be a cycle buddy.
