I was told to pee @ 0800 & hold on till 0930 which I knew would be impossible... When I'm nervous I pee like a racehorse!!
So I took the advice of I think it was @tuxcat.. I just pee'd when I needed to that drank a heap of water about 45 minute before my transfer. Worked a treat!

My transfer had a doctor doing the actual embryo transfer, and a nurse standing holding the ultrasound thingy on my tummy.

Interesting that Wazza doesn't do them..
I remember when I went for my scan when I thought I was losing baby Blossom, I had to drink three glasses of water. Now I don't drink much usually - I wouldn't normally drink that much in a full day! So when I got to the hospital I couldn't walk. It was awful, I was in so much pain. The nurse saw me and said ' Pee! Count to 15 and pee that long!" I did. Still felt full and still in pain. Ultrasound tech put the thingy on me and said "Your bladder is going to burst. Go back to the bathroom and pee for 20!" Did that and came back, she did the external, then the internal, and said "Pee again! Empty your bladder." Went - oh the relief! - and came back. Started doing internal again and she said "Your bladder just filled up!!! Go again!" I said I don't need to! She said "Go!" Off I trundle. Peed again like a racehorse!!

I think its better being ultrasound guided, they can make sure they put the embryo in the best position (your lining thickness can vary I think) and you don't want it too low in case of placenta previa/accreta. Its cool seeing it 'pop in' out the catheter!

I almost wet myself once I was busting, I don't think I have a very big bladder, so I went and let a bit out. Afterwards I was still busting, so much so that I had trouble going and I was too scared to push in case I pushed it out!!

A tip, start taking movicol a day or so before and keep taking it so you're not straining to go to the toilet. I know you can't push it out but its nicer if you don't have to push at all! Only cos the iron from the supplements will start blocking you up and the progesterone can make your intestines sluggish

Do we have a date yet? Its so exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No date. Waiting for AF to come and then we plan around that. It's CD28. Can't be far off!
