@Sue77 ive been thinking again... i think that maybe there may be some issue that medicine and science just isnt developed enough yet to identify or diagnose. Perhaps there is no way, yet, of knowing what the issue is and even if you did all the protocols and eveything they do try, it might not address the issue. Sometimes i try to think of my previous cycles as one big expensive experiment to help diagnose that something is not right, even if it didnt identify exactly what it was that was going wrong. I dont think the fs drs will ever be able to tell me if all of my eggs are definately 'defective' or if and when more oe cycles would have worked. The unknown factors really make it hard to make rational decisions. I do think that if you do try to use reasoning and rational decision making (over emotions), it would make sense to choose the option that is most likely to work (not that thats an easy thing to do but it would be rational). And thank you, for helping me too. Ukraine surrogacy is now an option i didnt know about so your post and @ECM1981 posts have given me options and choices too. xox

@Lastchance75 just out of curiosity, did you tend to get about 50/50 boy girl ratio with the embies from the cycle?

As Lleyton hewitt would say: C'mon!
Go little tuxcat's go! (I know it's DE but they are tuxcat's follies... all 15 of them!)
@gorgeousgeorge do you get any hint of how it's going with your DE cycle?

Yeah, if it was anything, it would be that the problem was with that x chromosome i think and therefore a problem with xx embryos being homozygous, not so much your ability to carry them as such, i reckon.

Actually yes I did it was a full 50/50 split which I was really surprised with. I swear my hubby only has male spermie in there.

@faithandhopellove hi :-) no i have no idea, just that dr.n wants us to go to the clinic from the airport for dh to do his part (poor thing) so epu is happening on that day, although i think, if donor needs a day or 2 more to stim, we have time to stick around if that happens.

I should clarify because i said before, something about a 'back up donor'. And id hate to be misleading or sound definate when im not 100% sure. I know dr.n said he had 2 suitable donors chosen for me. But i doubt theyd make 2 ladies do the stims up to epu, then only choose one at that late stage??? Unless they use the 'spare' donor to make donor embryos for other ladies? But theyd have a lot of pre-prepared donor embies if every donor cycle worked like that and the epu is expensive procedure but maybe they do twilight sedation epu???. I will try to ask dr.n about that. I know one lady who went to a different greece clinic and at her donors follie scan on the day, she had 1 follicle (omg) and they found her a different suitable donor within 24 hours and did epu with the second choice donor the next day. So ??? Im pretty sure they have some sort of back up option but i cant figure out how it actually works. I wonder, i have to pay 900euro for donor meds, so i wonder if that does pay for 2 ladies to take stim drugs up to just before epu? And then they just tell one lady, its not happening but surely youd want some compensation for stabbing yourself and having symptoms for 10-14 days. Im just not sure??? I will ask about it when im there. I know dr.n said "i have lots of ladies ready to go at anytime" so yeah, i dunno ???????

Yeah surprising but it makes sense that overall the world should be populated by 50/50 men vs women i guess. I dont wanna live on a sausage fest planet. Sometimes the universe does know what its doing, i suppose.
