    The shells dry much quicker than the inserts, so it can be useful to have more inserts than shells. I mainly used all in ones (the fit was better).

    Yep single use then wash. They separate out for faster drying. I like to pre-snap my MCNs so I can just grab one at change time so changing out the booster at change time was too much of a PITA for me.
    I started out with 15, but I prefer to have 24 minimum for second say washing. Allows for 6 per day plus enough to last washing day + 1 more in the case of rainy weather.
    Check out gumtree there are often people selling MCN brand new cos they never got around to using them! Cheaper way to bulk out your stash.
