I think they are offering a free cycle. But I agree, doesn't make up for it.

So sad to hear. But in this day and age how can it happen? Back up gens are meant to be tested regularly for these reasons. Feel so sad for this who've been affected

Ok totally off topic but who wants a funny story. Hubby is watching Netflix (well trying to) in our lounge room. I'm in bed at the other end of the house and my apple remote on my iPhone can pause his show from that distance to start with he had no clue what was going on.

Feeling a little disappointed right now. Just had my 1st scan for this cycle - day 7 of cycle, day 5 of injections and I only have 4 decent size follicules. They said there is a bunch of little ones. Have to go back Monday for more scans and hopefully some small ones grow. 1st cycle at this stage I had 11 good size follicules and a few small ones, ended up with 17 follicules at retrieval for 11 eggs to only get 1 embryo. (Also got OHSS).
With only 4 now I'm worried I won't end up with anything at the end

@pingc383 - I just had my 40th bday last week! I'm in WA so with FSWA. This is my 2nd cycle and hoping to get more than one embryo so we can freeze some and then just do a few times trying with transfer only rather than a full cycle.
The 1 embryo we got last time is frozen and they only graded it a B so hoping for an A!
God I hope some more grow and Monday's scan is going to be better.
They will call me this afternoon so will see if they change anything up

Good luck @mish239 I hope those smaller follies catch up. Let us know how the phone call goes if they change anything.

AFM- Still have HCG in my system. Another blood test next Friday
I feel like it keeps dragging on. Want my body to process the remaining HCG so that I can move on and look to the future.

@pingc383 It was at 245 last week and is 65 this week.

My last bloods whilst pregnant had me at 38341 at 6+1
She said it's normal... as I mentioned I was hoping it'd be out by now.
Have booked into get acupuncture to level out my hormones. Seeing her Tues and have next blood Friday. Trying anything to help!

The nurse said it could still be in my system then!
