Just had my first experience with my two kids both melting down at the same moment in the supermarket note to self, save shopping trips for days when the older one is at daycare!

Australia Post are hopeless. It takes a minimum of 2 weeks to get stuff here from over east! And 10 days for something I posted to be delivered to someone in the same town! But a letter got to friends in the UK in 5 days. I've had things with tracking and they sit there for 5 days without moving in Australia. And yet we pay a premium for this cr@p service.

So I didn't get to watch what I wanted on tv tonight because I went upstairs to make the bed. Now DH has put something on that I'm not interested in at all. I look over and he's watching some video on his laptop with his earphones in so isn't watching the tv at all anyway and my sister is on HER laptop watching some crossfit thing with her headphones on. So I am the only person who is actually paying attention to the tv (while I'm feeding DD mind you) and it's not even anything I want to watch! Can't even change the channel because the remote is next to DH and I can't reach the bloody thing.

Bub has his 6 week developmental check today, and the parking close to the clinic is scarce and it's pouring rain. Even two babies in, I'm still trying to figure out how to not get baby wet lol.

My DH is bad for forgetting that I don't like his shows. We have a telly in our room and often he will say "come on, lets go to bed and watch some tv" we get in there and he will put one of his shows on so I just get back up and go to the living room. I'm not even subtle about it anymore.

I burnt 2-3 of my fingers with steam tonight and they really really hurt Running water was good. Until I took my fingers out of the water. So I stuck them in a glass of icy water. Which helped until the water warmed up. I had them pressed against a small ice pack while I fed DD. Which helped until the ice pack defrosted. I've just put some lignocaine cream on it to see if that numbs it so I can get some sleep. Just so freaking sore!

If you've got Bepanthem, lather it on thick and cover with a light bandage. It usually will get rid of the burn and any blisters overnight.
