What is the point in trying to take DS to do fun things if he continually refuses to put shoes/socks/sunblock on or get into his car seat so that we can leave. I give him 3 chances and then say we aren't going. Then he gets upset and throws a wobbly because now we aren't going to the park/for a walk at the beach/see our friends/playgroup. It's happened often enough now that he knows what will happen. I'm sick of trying to do fun things and him refusing to cooperate then getting upset when we don't go because he won't cooperate. I'm sick of being stuck in the house 4 days a week.

I am at the shops wandering around with bub while the house gets sprayed (cockroaches be gone!), and I'm super hungry but don't know what I feel like, and bub is really unsettled in the pram. I was just saying to my mum last week how lovely it is to shop with a newborn and not my 4yo as he just sleeps the whole time. Things have changed this week!

I woke up early because I needed to go to the loo. Was looking forward to going back to bed for a sleep in. Got back in bed and the alarm went off. I was very confused and then realised its Friday, not Saturday. And then remembered I didn't make lunches last night either.

DS1 brought home his fundraiser chocolate box yesterday.
It is telling me to eat it.

Vent number 2 for today, sorry!

Have given mum and step dad a list of names for their new puppy (thanks to the lovely ladies of BH). Step dad wants to name puppy our nickname for DD. 😐😐

Regretting telling hubby I'd hang the washing out if he hangs out with the kids. 4yo wants to play with lego on her own and baby is asleep. Booooo.

We have a neighbour somewhere over the back fence who has a party for one every Saturday afternoon from about 3:30pm. It used to be karaoke for one, but thankfully that seems to have stopped. Lately though he/she seems to have extended to Sunday too. The music is loud enough that we can hear it quite clearly in our place if we have doors/windows open. It's not offensive music, in fact most of the time it's music I would choose to listen to myself. It's just getting to a point where it would be nice to have a break from noise in general on a weekend. Already today the neighbours immediately next to us have serenaded us with squealing children and power tools for a good 4-5hrs. That stopped and now it's the other neighbours music. I doubt there's anything we can even do about it. If we did a note in the letterbox we'd have to do half the street because we don't know which house it's actually coming from. I had a quick look on the council site, but it's not their issue - it's a police one, and that just seems overkill! I just wish they could read our minds and drop the volume a bit!

I think this way, If it is kinda annoying me, then there has to be someone else in the neighbourhood who is getting annoyed too, and i will hope someone else makes a complaint. good luck, marie.

I may or may not have dragged my dad in a religious rant on Facebook. I regret nothing.

I'm feeling a bit sad and a bit ungrateful.
I really wanted another baby. I am super appreciative of the 4 I have and I know I'm blessed beyond measure. I love them dearly and I am super happy.
    But...
Hubby and I tried for number 5. In the 11th month of trying, I fell pregnant finally. Lost it at 8 weeks last October and DH said no more trying. I'm supposed to be going on Mirena soon (because I'm not having anymore babies and I suffer from menorrhagia, so it makes sense) but it just makes me terribly sad. To think that's it. I now don't get that baby that I envisioned.

I know I don't really have a whole lot of cause for the sadness, what with my 4 babies I already have. That's why it's in the not so serious vent haha. But I wanted to vent all the same.
