It could be a while. I wondered how one it could take so googled and got this "The female lays between 4-20 hard-shelled eggs during spring and early summer in an excavation in the bank of a swamp or ******. The young tortoises usually hatch after an incubation time ranging from three to eight months. Some females may produce two or three clutches in one season."

    Let's hope it's closer to 3 than 8!!

Made a beautiful apple crumble and go to serve it up and there is no ice cream. The kids have been making milkshakes.

I am jealous, 2 of my brothers sheep had lambs today and another 2 are currently in labour. 2 of the 3 humans I know who are due within a week of me have had their baby's. Everyone is having babies but me!

Yes, that is April, my sweet, sweet April. Pregnant for 15 months with a 6 foot giraffe. I *may* be slightly obsessed

15 months! No wonder you need a new unborn animal to latch onto, your life will seem empty once April has her baby
