They're the best! Oh well, now I'll have to eat twice as many of the poorer quality eggs to make up for it!

I've already been doing that... but DH came home yesterday with 2 bags of plain ones, a bag of Turkish delight and a bag of the Oreo ones. But I don't like Turkish delight or Oreo...but he does! He needs to up his game and come home with some top deck, crunchie, malteaser and the milky bar white ones to redeem himself

I had a bonds one I lost that I bought when DS was a bub. I found it recently and I like it vut I think they changed recently.

Chloe and Lola BF bras are good. I have had mine for years and they have lasted longer than Berlei and Target ones.

Tonight we saw a turtle laying eggs in our newly plowed backyard. Our friend is coming with their laser bucket tomorrow to level it out and build it up in places.
DH refuses to delay backyard works or even quarantine that area because of turtle eggs.
He says he will move the eggs but I wouldn't have thought moving them was a good idea???
He tells me I'm a farmer now since I married him. So I asked why that doesn't make him a greenie now since he married me. No answer.

Can you maybe contact someone about it? I'm sure I read somewhere that Mon Repos (up near Barbara in Qld) moved turtle eggs during the extreme heat we had over summer. My understanding is that once the turtle lays the eggs, it's up to the hatchlings to sort themselves out. I'm definitely no expert though!

This is a good idea. I'll call around tomorrow. I just did a quick google and it said that once they're laid, they have to stay that way up. And if they're turned they go bad. So when people move them, they need to mark the tops to know which way to sit them. Who knows but it sounds reasonable. An expert will know.

They did have to move some because all the baby turtles were dying. DH said that he thinks that they regularly move eggs into cages for protection on the beach - but I am not sure if that's true. We've been meaning to go this year, but between end of pregnancy and newborn couldn't be bothered with the night time trip with the toddler.

Potentially there is a number you could call tonight for Mon Repos. I know some of the groups that go turtle watching are out til 2 am.
