Hold the line, @gingermillie. Just wait it out. Someone will buy it. ☺

Make hidden veggie mac and cheese for the first time. It boasts the kids wont know the difference and it tastes great.

    Ds1's verdict - It's digusting.
Dh's verdict 'It's ok' meaning, 'Please don't make me eat this" or "don't make this again, I am letting you down gently"
    Me - eats 3 bowls.

Overall verdict. My family are assholes and don't know good food unless it's packeted.

Yay for your positive thinking - the last person got back to me and bought it for $20 now to sell the last 3 baby things!

Woohoo! I have found with Gumtree that there might be a few d!ckheads offering you way too little, but if you wait, reasonable buyers will come ☺ Glad you got it off your hands!

my gas is due to be disconnected today (long story but because I missed payments when on a hardship plan when I was in hospital I don't qualify for hardship until I can make 3 payments of what they want - I can't pay the amount they want but can pay a lesser amount that would be enough if I was registered with hardship - despite my tears on the phone they won't budge). I thought it was going to be ok & I could work around it since don't need heater at this time of year & can use bbq to cook. Then I remembered my hot water is gas & there is no working around cold showers

Got half way to work and realised I forgot to leave my daughters bag with her - no clothes or shoes for her as she went to my parents house in her pjs. Thankfully mum has keys to my house and can go get her clothes and other shoes!

I think I have nits courtesy of DS. After spending a couple of hours doing his long curly hair yesterday with the same to do again today my itchy head is telling me I need to find a way to do my own waist length hair

I made up a double portion of dinner last night so i could freeze some. The kids ate every last scrap of it. My kid who rarely wats more than 2 or bites at dinner ate 3 sausages. Which is great but still...

I am 35 weeks pregnant and it's 37 degrees. Just stood up while waiting for an appointment for 10 minutes while 3 young and seemingly able-bodied men (and one other pregnant woman) occupied all of the chairs. I'm all for equality, and when I'm not pregnant I would be embarrassed if a man stood for me and would insist that he sat down, but I do believe in good manners so stand the eff up and offer me a seat!
