I WISH we had daylight savings in Queensland!! It's so pointless having all that daylight first thing in the morning when no one can utilise it! It'd be so much better to have an extra hour in the evening, when you could get outside and do things or go for a walk or play with the kids..

I'm very west in NSW and daylight savings here for us means it's still daylight past 10pm at night. And it's still daylight at 6am. I can gladly give you my daylight savings haha

Yes!!! I used to complain as a little kid that it was still light when we went to bed. However, I still went to sleep if the curtains were closed. As a mum, who has just moved to QLD and is experiencing no DLS for the first time, and who already has an early riser - it freaking sucks.

My skin has been so super dry. Ran out of moisturiser today (body). Had to use oil and super hydrating moisturiser on my face. Still so dry.

Don't you know, it will confuse the cows and fade your curtains!

I wish they did to. We often go up there during the summer and when it's dark early at night there isn't much to do where as at home in SA you could still be at the beach at 8pm

Bring on daylight savings.... The sun (and DD) are up at 4:30. I would just do my own daylight saving and do everything an hour earlier but daycare only opens at 6:30. Wish they opened at 5:30.

We had a 5am wake up this morning, and there's no telling a 3yo that it's still night time when the sun is shining like it's midday so we were in the pool at 7:30am

ETA she just asked for lunch at 8:30am

I am truly bored with making food for dinner these days... I don't want to cook.
