Darn it Another potential BFN? I'm so sorry hon. But as I said to @Grace1, it ain't over til the fat lady sings, and I don't feel like belting out Livin' On A Prayer at the moment. I'll send lots of sticky baby dust your way and hope for a surprise outcome for both you and @Grace1.

So I have a Prednisolone question for you all.

You might remember a while ago I was complaining about feeling like a Grandma, with aching shoulder and hip joints? My GP put me on Prednisolone as a trial, and I had to take 20mg x 4 days, 15mg x 4 days, 10mg x 4 days, 5mg x 4 days, then 5mg every second day for 4 days, then stop?

Well, I'm now down to my last tablet and whilst I felt amazing on the Prednisolone, the pain is now coming back.

Now...being that I was originally put on it because of the pain, and that my BT's indicated high inflammatory markers, my concern is surrounding transfer. I should definitely be taking Prednisolone, right? I worry that if I don't my high markers might make it difficult for my body to even implant when the time comes, let alone sustain a pregnancy long term...

Not sure of my FS's opinion on this as yet. He isn't aware of my recent joint issues. I think his standard is 10mg a day but I'm not sure how long for. My question to you all, is what dose would you want to be on, and more importantly for how long?

I know there is a slightly elevated risk of cleft palate occurring but my research seems to indicate it is very slight - from 1/1000 to 2/1000?

    Thoughts ladies?

Keep taking the Prednisone Luv and don't stop is my opinion

I took it riight through and weaned off at 10 weeks in prep for my CVS at 11 wks.

Wazza gets his Girls to wean off at 12 weeks usually. The risk factor for cleft lip/palate is very minute. There are also other risk factors that increase that risk factor further such as genetic predisposition for eg. Prednisone is one very small one.

In your case, the benefit outweighs the risk IMO.

hi @Jazzabelle13 thx for asking about me, how are you going? Are you planning to cycle again soon?
@Blossom74 I have no idea about the pred, but hope you get some answers
@midnite01 and @Caesardust good luck today
@Billie2 hope everything's ok at your next scan..is your hcg down yet?
@skeeter your line is looking fabulous - bet you can't wait for your blood test?
@Charlie74 and @LillyM thinking of you both in your 2ww, and hope you both get your bfps this week.

afm I think it's a bfn for me this cycle. I've been testing out the pregnyl daily since the last booster and the line is just getting lighter. Assume the line would've been darkening by now (10dp 3dt) ? Anyone else tested it out ? just wanna get off the progesterone now and move forward.

    Aaaaah fruck it Luv!!!

Yeah....it's not looking good I'm afraid I would've at least have liked to see it holding the same shade. Lightening is never good

See what tomorrow's stick looks like for sure, but yeah, looks like it's a stinking, frucking BFN on the way!!! Am so sorry Luv....

    @Grace1 and @pingc383

I spent yesterday with a room full of kids - my goddaughters 4th birthday party (I thought I'd be upset but it was fantastic!). DH and I got very excited about getting our BFP soon!!

What dose should I take hon? And should I taper it down at any point?

Absolutely brilliant @midnite01! Did you get a take home pic? I hope you get a chance to celebrate today's wonderful milestone. I love how you're flying under the radar with this pregnancy. You'll be at your 9wk scan in the blink of an eye!
