@nattie84 I'm so sorry to hear you've had another chemical. With no reason for it, it's super super frustrating!!!

Have you had chromosome blood testing done aswell?

I have my 4th from 6 FET's this Thursday and am already convincing myself it's going to end the same way

    Default Unexplained Chemical Pregnancies

Sorry @Ashjay I didn't reply to your message! Two things - the first doctor I went to was an integrative one & used kinesiology & live blood analysis to say yes I am allergic to progesterone & she has seen it many times, especially on those who've done several IVF cycles & used supplemental progesterone. She didn't think I was crazy & encouraged me to see what Dr M has to say & to also add in antihistamines when I fall pregnant again, as well as prednisone & clexane & see if I can get away with only my own bodies natural progesterone. So that was good but being non- scientific diagnosis, I take it with a grain of salt, but the recommendation seemed sound.

Then last week I saw Wazza & I was blown away that when I related my history he took seriously my questions about whether I had Autoimmune Progesterone Detmatitis. I was so happy that he didn't think it was all in my head & just coincidence. While I was there he called a skin specialist & is getting them to design some patch tests with several different types of progesterone to see if I react. So that is brilliant & happens next week.

I hope to find some answers - even if it's not a progesterone allergy, something is going on with my immune system so I hope we get it sorted.

How did your FET go @Ashjay?

@nattie84 sorry to hear of another chem for you - I'll let you know how I go discussing this next week with another couple of doctors & will pass on any info. It's heartbreaking...

So sorry that you are having these issues. Have you been tested for matching dq alpha genes and elevated activated natural killer cells? I looked into this a while ago and from memory I think matching dq alpha genes (from you and your partner) may allow an initial pregnancy to occur but over time can lead to high levels of natural killer cells that cause problems with later attempts. I will see if I can find some info and will post a link for you.

I had 3 back to back unexplained chemical pregnancies via IVF, it's a horrible thing to go through.

Everything came back normal for me, top grade perfect loooong blastocysts each time from 31 year old eggs.

For my second child I did an endo scratch before transfer and then 20mg of predisolone steroid treatment and I had an ongoing and Pregnancy. The steroid treatment doesn't work for all but might be worth a shot?
