    I am over it all today. Currently DS is screaming to not have a shower. It is after 8! He should be in freaking bed.

    I am wondering if 7 is the "feral" age. My DS pulled his pj pants down over his bum, ran around the table, threw a brown-eye our way then turned around and played his doodle like an air guitar. Trying so hard not to laugh as don't want to encourage him

    Oh I feel your pain my DS1 has just turned 9 and I found the ages of 7 and 8 to be sh1te! He was just totally feral but we seem to be coming out the other side.

    This seems to be standard in my house from age 3. I hope they don't hit a whole new level at 7.

    I am surprised at how well my kids travel (by car). I mean, I knew they were good but I am really pleased with them at the moment.

    Friday we did a 1000+km into town which, including shopping and appointments was a 5am-10pm day.
    Then Sunday was a 1000km trip to MILs, which also included being bogged and having to wait over an hour for assistance, so that was a 5am-7pm day.
    Then yesterday we went from MILs to Sydney and back, so over 600km round trip.

    So that's over 2500km in the car in 4 days, as well as boring shopping/appointments. They are 6, 4, 3 and 2. No DVD players or anything
    I'm just really impressed with them.

    We have the 1000km trip home Thursday morning.
