I am over it all today. Currently DS is screaming to not have a shower. It is after 8! He should be in freaking bed.

At work, and it's cold. I've got my vest on, cardigan on and a heat pack tucked in my waistband. Stupid aircon!

I am wondering if 7 is the "feral" age. My DS pulled his pj pants down over his bum, ran around the table, threw a brown-eye our way then turned around and played his doodle like an air guitar. Trying so hard not to laugh as don't want to encourage him

This seems to be standard in my house from age 3. I hope they don't hit a whole new level at 7.

I am surprised at how well my kids travel (by car). I mean, I knew they were good but I am really pleased with them at the moment.

Friday we did a 1000+km into town which, including shopping and appointments was a 5am-10pm day.
Then Sunday was a 1000km trip to MILs, which also included being bogged and having to wait over an hour for assistance, so that was a 5am-7pm day.
Then yesterday we went from MILs to Sydney and back, so over 600km round trip.

So that's over 2500km in the car in 4 days, as well as boring shopping/appointments. They are 6, 4, 3 and 2. No DVD players or anything
I'm just really impressed with them.

We have the 1000km trip home Thursday morning.
