Good luck cycling gals, sorry, it's really hard to track what's happening on my phone!

Oh FFS's Luv, how bloody annoying!!!

The sooner the bloody thing comes out, the sooner you can get on with it Luv. The last thing you want is for it to have a sh!tfit in there and go on you in an acute attack!!!

Better off for them to take it out before that happens. The recovery will be much better and quicker that way. My gallbladder went in an acute attack on me and I was left for a couple of days high on morphine to control the pain due to emergency surgeries taking my place on the list to the point in turned necrotic and I developed an infection leaving them no alternative but to operate.

By the time they took it out it burst as they removed it. Fluid went into my abdomen and I had to stay in hospital on IV antibiotics blah, blah, blah...I was sick as a dog and it was a big frigging drama!!.

Anyhoo...my point is you don't want that happening as much as a PIA it is to have to have another operation is going to be just when you've gotten over this one (((Hugs))).

@winsor our new FS also quoted 80% and I was pretty surprised - it seemed higher than I had thought. No point really putting too much into the exact figures I guess, we know that the chances are way above what we're used to so thats the main thing!!

We also got the advice that it would probably be overkill testing the embryos given the donors age. When do you hear if its all good to go?

Is your FS basing it on your donor's previous history becuause that is higher than normal???

Either way....it's a winner for you Luv!!!

@pingc383 had explained what all the different testing is and means. The ANA testing is totally different to just normal thyroid function testing. Either way...up to you what you want to do about that.

Same with the PGD. That might be worth considering though Luv as there's sure to be some emby's that will be abnormal among them so I guess the thing to consider there is whether you want to go into transfer knowing you're dealing with all normals or just roll the dice and hope for the best knowing that sooner or later you're bound to get a good one

sorry, had a cute kitty getting laptime cuddles & couldn't type.
thanks I'm not sure. he did mention she was an excellent donor (she's had 100% success before)

yes, that's what I was thinking about the PGD - as I'd like to minimise m/c if possible (protection mechanism), though of course there's no guarantees. I'm ok to do the BT and see what happens. I've heard the scratch can hurt. and he said the flush was iodine (I think). I mentioned my lining is usually ok and he said it's hard to tell for sure - it might look ok on scans but still have problems they can't see. but I think that it must have been ok for those 2 BFP cycles - they did implant.

Don't forget if you are a regular on this thread, haven't graduated (yet ) but would like to be added to the pregnancy and parenting thread please chat to Blondeinbrisvegas or Molros. As I mentioned last night it's a lonely little thread at the moment. I think we started too late to catch the April bfp ladies but hopefully our next bfp storm will mean lots of scan pics, baby bumps and other posts. If you are not sure you are up to posting with the graduates while you are still TTC that's ok. We can add you later or you can ask to be added now but decide not to read posts until you are ready. If you are not yet a regular on this thread please continue to post here. Once we get to know you we can add you on. This is to keep the private thread a safe space for pics and posts.

Now here's the promotion speak: This is a limited time offer... he he by that I mean we don't normally advertise for new members but will PM regular posters to advise them of the other thread. But given that it is jolly quiet there AND there are so many ladies on this thread now it's hard to keep up (sorry if we missed adding you) AND there seems to be an interest in posting pics etc but keeping privacy I thought our administrators wouldn't mind.
Count me in to the pregnancy and parenting thread please! Hi ladies, has been a long time between log-ins and sorry for my silence! One million things have kept me from logging in and probably needed a bit of time and space after 3 years of being in IVF mode. I'm from the April BFP ladies - 21 weeks along now after first egg donor cycle and we are having a baby boy in December. I'll be doing some reading to see how everyone's going and catching up. Baby dust to all xx
