What will happen to me mentally if it doesnt work? tick!
What if my lining is crap? tick!
    Blighted ovums, ectopics, miscarriage...??? tick!

so basically just take out the travelling side of things and YEP I hear ya

Im scared of getting one embryo or something. Its such a huge amount of money we are spending so the gamble feels very real. In some ways though, because our donor has never cycled before and we have never done this before I feel a bit more comfortable about being in the dark about it. Where my usual cycles would be me thinking its wasn't going to work and dreading the first follicle scan I really have absolutely no idea what will happen with this new cycle. She's young, she's fit and healthy and she's had 2 kids very easily and DH has never been the problem as far as the experts are concerned so thats a few steps above our previous history.

its a gamble but lots of ladies get BFPs eventually even if not first go. Please let that be us
Thanks for your message mate xox im trying so hard to just put my trust in dr.n, trying to think of him as the overseas-wazza and believe that he knows what he's doing. Also trying to remain positive about the 'fact' that so far, the only problem seems to be my eggs. I just so dont want the donor egg thing ending up being another diagnostic process iykwim. Like i had to do 6 transfers to find out my eggs r crap. I dont want the donor thing to end up being a process that leads to finding out i have multiple miscarriage probs etc...
Ive tried to sift through all my medical records n blood tests etc...to see what ive been tested for etc...
Im also trying to just pretend im going on a holiday, lol, but its sooo hard to lie to yourself. I so hope we end up both amazed that it worked first go. xox

Not that I want a BFN either but if I had to pick between BO or BFN I do have a preference. The BO last year frucked my lining up too
Yep me too. Every single pregnancy Ive had has been a long drawn out torturous affair. Im over it. Im a patient person but thats a cruel joke!

Thanks ladies unfort in nz the tenants can refuse photos of their personal belongings they are on fixed lease until early november so unless we gave them 42 days notice to terminate the tenancy. What irks me is our property manager advised them they didnt have to agree to photos urrghhhh!! Stupid woman. They have so much clutter in the house i want the house to sell quickly so they eill have to get organised. The agent reckons thr external shots will sell the house hopefully.

Im not sure if thats the kind of cycle @LillyM has just done? Ive seen AG but didn't go into that stuff, she's super fast talking and not as personable as the other Drs Ive seen. I did see Louise Fay (lovely lady) at IVFA and she was open to trying different cycles, I don't from memory remember discussing that one but I did Elonva which was a different approach. You could try her? I think its probably not so much that FS haven't heard of it but more that they have their reasons for not doing them. My prev FS had some reason for not recommending it for me, cant remember what it was.

Hi all, just got home from my meet up, my donor wasn't there as she lived about 5 hours away. Was nice to meet some new people and be able to talk freely about IVF stuff, even with the men!
@Rhino I feel your pain sister, I posted a while ago about my cousins "surprise" pregnancy at 38 with some guy she had only just met and made the announcement whist drinking a beer and smoking! I feel apart, I threw a mammoth tantrum when I got home and I still haven't spoken to her ( no great loss)

Here's the link for yummy sausage rolls, they were a big hit today X

Check out this story I found: Chicken sausage rolls http://kitchen.nine.com.au/2016/05/1...-sausage-rolls

    @MissDa congratulations!
@gorgeousgeorge that is interesting. I've never heard of it but I often have coldsores... I wonder if that is another issue that contributes? I did think of asking my FS about intralipids, but chickened out as he'd probably think 'here she goes again'. Would it work if I just ate a lot of cheesecake? Sorry you have a lot of anxious thoughts, no help with that as I do the same thing!
@Maxwellsmum I hear you there... I am really worried about another chem or non viable pregnancy. I hope if I get a BFP the HCG is sky high so I don't have to stress.

Busy sorting out paperwork for Medicare and HBF, geez it's so tricky to keep organised! And then I realised Medicare still hadn't processed a claim from October, which I keep sending them. I've started writing myself sticky notes saying what I've paid, submitted, where to and when, and where to send the receipt when I get it. I've now started using the app which seems to be much quicker so far, but I am cr*ppy at taking photos and have had some sent back.

I think I'm kind, my mum thinks I'm beautiful but I'm definitely not soft spoken! I'm loud and often use swear words to start a sentence, finish a sentence and as a comma!
But I googled miss honey, and I'll take it!
