Good on 'ya Luv!!! I would've done the same thing!!!!

@LillyM Im so sorry this is happening, its terrible, huge hugs. On one hand I always used to think you want to have something to transfer, you go through a whole cycle its a psychological thing that you want to have a transfer. However the more cycles Ive done the less Ive thought that way, my last one I only the one egg but even though the clinic would have previously put it in at day 3 they had changed things to always do day 5 transfers. I think it entirely depends on whether you have that niggle of "what if its better in you than the dish". So if you do then perhaps you do the day 3 and if not then I would push it out as you planned and try your luck. Im of the opinion that I would rather not have to string out a bad outcome for an extra 10 days or so if its not going to work so I get your partners perspective.

In all honesty I think its become much more common amongst clinics to do day 5 transfers, the data is obviously there that they are the more realistic chance of getting a bfp. don't know if that helps, only you can decide. Good luck xxx
