Hi everyone! Just put in a huge effort and read back through all your posts so am now up to date. Well, as up to date as one can be when one has the memory of a sieve at the moment! Obviously I can't comment on everyone's posts but in light of @gorgeousgeorge's post proclaiming a Bub Hub "All Is Forgiven" clause I will just do my best with the bits I remember.

First up, @faithandhopellove, I just adored your "Don't lose sight of the end goal" post

I wanted to send a big congratulations to @Grace1, @skeeter and @ange1111 on your EPU's. No matter what the outcome ladies, just getting to EPU at 'our age' is a huge success. I am sending all the very best for your fertilisation rates, and a special hug to @Grace1 for your lone ranger. May he/she be a fighter for you

@pingc383 - Congrats on being PUPO hon!

    A big hello to @Infinity, @Green lady, @Precious40, @Summer and @Lolly99 - I think of you all, often

@BIB, thrilled that your DH's access visit and you impending plans for counselling went well hon.
@midnite01 - The National Stick Shortage was not me, bahahahah I will pre-warn you all that you might like to stock up soon though because I will be hitting CW shortly!!!
@tuxcat - re your earlier conversation about attending EPU with your donor. For me, I just assumed I'd be there It is the first time I will meet our donor face to face. I am driving her to EPU, I will be with her until she goes in, and I will be there to greet her when she comes out. In between all of that I'll be sending DH off for his TESA. For me, I wanted to be a part of that whole process. But it is an entirely personal decision
@Caesardust, I have done NO baking for weeks. I'm actually dying to get back in the kitchen but time is my enemy at the moment so it has to wait. When I do make something I'll be sure to post a pic up though!
@Billie2, I have been thinking of you hon, and am standing by in admiration of how well you are holding up under the circumstances. Big hugs to you lovely
@Charlie74, congrats on the lining scan hon, and @Tahli - you sound like yours is coming along beautifully! Also, I hope you're feeling better now after your procedure, and that your pain has subsided. Big hugs sweetheart
@Maxwellsmum and @Heyside - No pressure or anything, but just FYI....I wouldn't mind seeing a stick pic any time soon @pingc383 - glad to hear a fellow Stick Wh0re has joined the ranks

And finally, @Lastchance75. May your last ever transfer in October bring you every joy and success hon

I see I missed even more news while I was typing, ha ha!
@LillyM - Best wishes today for your EPU hon. May the odds be forever in your favour.
@Grace1 - Good luck for you transfer love. I will send lots of sticky baby dust your way
@midnite01, good luck for your BT.

    AFM....

It's been a hell of a few days ladies. I'll dot point it out for you to save us all some time:-

    * Travelled 3 hours for work on Monday, did a full day and then had a bit of a late night with little sleep
    * Up early Tuesday, drive an hour to get to my hairdresser and re-purple-ify my hair. Yes, it's a word!
    * Drive another hour for a mini EDA meetup with a dear friend
    * Drive ANOTHER hour and arrive home at 7pm, so tired I was crying.
    * Spent a whole day cleaning my bomb shelter of a house before Mum and Dad arrived to stay the night. Out to dinner, then late night.
    * Counselling session for our donor cycle at 10am Thursday, followed by 3 hours of strangers at our house to try and sell Mum and Dad's van. Not sold
    * Clean the house - AGAIN.
    * Up early today, meant to be working but so much other stuff to catch up on. Feel behind with EVERYTHING.

To top it off I felt so scattered last night I thought "What better time than now to test out the valium." Took 1 x 2mg tablet and got super tired. Lying on the couch when DH got home, he asked what was for dinner and I said I wasn't hungry. He went and made a hamburger, came in to eat it and I burst into tears because he didn't make me one He goes back out to the kitchen, whips up another which I virtually inhaled, then fell asleep. He woke me to ask if I wanted a milo before bed (No) or some icecream (Yes), then I cried because I was tired. Took me to bed and that's the last thing I remember Safe to say, 1 is plenty for me!!!

Counselling went well, aside from one little slip from DH. When the counsellor asked us about what we would tell the child, DH said he "Wanted to be completely honest from the start, because he didn't think it was right if (for example) our 13 year old child all of a sudden found out that their 'Mother wasn't their real Mother...' "

It was a poor choice of language on my DH's part, being that DH is very confident around what role I will play in this baby's life (Momma) and what role our donor will play (donor!) Luckily, the counsellor picked it up saying just that - it was a poor language choice, and she could tell that his understanding in that matter was clear once he elaborated further.

But other than that it went well, we are cleared for takeoff I believe, and our clinic will call me today to arrange the details
Hopefully we will be cycling very soon -

@Billie2 - Yes hun your right it sends me insane the tww on the surface I want to protect myself and be a realist that it hasn't worked but there is always that glimmer of hope that looks for symptoms. Its good that your numbers are dropping quickly so you can start to plan next steps although I am sure its very emotional.
@LillyM - Great news that you have the best egg hunter on your case good luck xx

@Blossom74 - that's good the counselling went well! Not long now to get going, you and DH must be getting a bit excited. I didn't imagine you with purple hair?!!
@Heyside - still 24 hour nausea for me. Had my NIPT on Tuesday - Panorama test, get the results in 2 weeks as has to be sent to the US. Next hurdle is 13 week structural scan on 2 Sept. Just taking it scan by scan at the moment
