    Question Endo scratch advise

    Hi Ladies
So this is my second endo scratch in a year and just want some advise from you ladies who have had an Endo scratch before.

My scratch is booked in for the 29th (CD20) of this month but i am due to ovulate around the 25-26th. I am thinking of trying to conceive naturally during my high fertility days before the scratch... but would you ladies recommend this?

I am tossing whether to try or not try because what would happen if by some miracle that my DH sperm meet my egg around ovulation time. Would the scratch jeopardize the whole thing?

Did any of you ladies did it during high fertility days before your endo scratch?

Any advise or suggestion would be much appreciated.

I thought the best time to do the scratch is CD 20/ 6 days after ovulation

Sounds a bit risky. I think the best time to try is in the cycle after a scratch, but check with your doc.

@nattie84 - my clinic wants to do on between cd 16-21. Ive been booked in for cd20 of my cycle
@BB77 it does sound risky doesnt it? only doing the scratch because our stim cycle with frozen transfer start next month .. thought we would give it one more go with the natural but maybe we will just skip it and just wait for the frozen transfer to stick

In theory it wouldn't be great to fall pregnant naturally and then have your endometrial lining scratched in 4 places, would hate to think what that may do to an embryo. I was successful with an fet after an endo scratch. Fingers crossed it works for you too!

Having been through years of IVF treatments all of which where failures despite all healthy embryos being transferred. I decided on a new FS who also specialised in gyno. They suggested something I'd been asking to do. I had a Lapo to see what was going on. Turns out I had stage 3 endo and a fibroid tumour. All was cut out. I used my last frostbite a few months later. It failed to. BUT a miracle happened. A few weeks after the failure I was "late". We'd conceived naturally. Turns out my naturally fertility came back mostly like because of the surgery.

I now have a 1 month old DS currently snuggled into me. I'm also 40 next year
