So I reckon I may be in for a long cycle as I'm cd24, flashing smiley on opk and I have weird pain on one side and a slightly bit of blood bits (sorry tmi) in mucus. Previously that's all pointed to ovulation

Cd19 today and got a solid smiley yesterday which I thought would indicate o today (also been having cramping on both sides) though it was o pain - but had blood test this morning to say haven't o'ed yet
Back at fs now waiting for her to see me to have an internal u/s to double check follicle numbers
    Grrr hating the waiting
Wishing and hoping this is my month
Fx lots of follicles seen on the u/s today

Since having my daughter may 2014 my periods have gone from 55days to 27 days
Ive been charting for a year not ttc though just to recognise a pattern when time came
Usually cycles were 35 days last 3 cycles since my ectopic its been 27 days which im happy with and my luteal phase stays the same (2wks) from ovulation never varies which helps in ttc
Try not to worry shorter cycle is good less waiting around and more oportunities to ttc each year

Well ladies I'm out for this month
Just saw fs and the follies that were there last week didn't mature, and hormone levels are too low which indicates I won't ovulate
    On to October I guess...

I'm so sorry, that must be so disappointing. Did they give you any info or a plan going forward?

    Thanks rhee1980
Next step is to start some meds that bring on af and then Onto a 4th clomid cycle
If no luck with the next cycle we can look at clomid again, injectables or artificial insemination

Ladies - can a gp prescribe clomid or only a fs ? I saw a gp today and was referred for an ultra sound however she mentioned clomid but said it can result in a multiples pregnancy.... i am not that concerned about having multiples so am wondering if i should try and take the clomid avenue to help things along!?

I nearly posted the same question last night - from my research, only a FS or obgyn can prescribe clomid. My GP said any meds to impact hormones etc need to be monitored by a specialist.

I'm seeing my GP on Wed and it looks like I'll be heading in that direction.
