We saw a fertility specialist with no.2 and the first step was regular blood tests to work out my cycle. The dr phoned on a Sunday and told me I was ovulating and to DTD. First month of seeing him. We got pregnant straight away (after 8 months of trying on our own). We didn't have to progress to chlomid. I know this doesn't answer your question, but maybe it is better to spend the money on a specialist...?

Tell him to just lie there and take it. Lol.
It's hard when it takes two to be in the mood to tango. X

I can't remember who it was that was talking about pre-seed (may've been in the Aug thread) but we tried it last night. Not sure if it went "up there" far enough, but was paranoid of it going everywhere, which made DTD similar to a farce as DH and I couldn't stop laughing and giggling. The fact that the heater hadn't kicked in and it was really cold probably didn't help matters either.
We have used preseed - don't put too much in as it's slippery. I usually lay in bed for a little while after inserting before dtd. I don't like moving too much after inserting as I don't want it running out! hehe Good luck next time

(Happy to have this result bc was so worried I'd have very few follicles! Better more than none I figure!)
I can't help with your query but I might be in a similar situation. On Monday I had an internal ultrasound and the radiographer said that he couldn't see anything...all was good. Then last night my GP called to say there were a larger number of under-developed follicles that was is normal and for me to book an appointment to see him. He said it could point to PCOS but it's not definitive and there needs to be further investigation. I'm not freaking out as I'm certain that if there is an issue, a fs can help us fall pregnant...I just never thought this would be my journey.

I haven't googled yet I hope all goes well for you xx

    Hi @MUG81 and @Yogis Mumma,
Although I don't have PCO or PCOS myself, I know so many women, including my sister with it who have babies of their own. Two friends fell pregnant quite easily, my sister wasn't Oing so went into FS and was taking supplements and pessary and although it took 10 months for first bubba, second bubba came without even a blink of the eye.

Thanks for the reassurance! Im still waiting to see my GP (Wed) to determine what the diagnosis is for me.

The fertility dr got me to have regular blood tests and he phoned and said "you're ovulating, DTD today", we did, and got a BFP. So much better than trying to work it out on my own.
Thanks! Awesome advice, so helpful. I'll see what my FS thinks about that when I go back in October.
