Default how long to hold out for

    Pointless1 is no troll.
She participates in many other threads including fluff ones and has said many kind words and given advice.
    Hardly behaviour of a troll.

She may not be, but regular forum activity doesn't dismiss someone being a troll.
A long time ago, there was a poster that lead a whole fantasy life on here, until people that knew her IRL caught her out.

We only have to look at Belle Gibson to see how far people can take their lies.

Please, give it a rest now. You obviously have your beliefs, just ignore these threads and move on if you're that convinced. Your comments could cause a lot of damage to someone who is clearly struggling.

This is exactly what I was thinking, pointless has come on here for advice and support. The last thing she needs is to read that her situation isn't even factual.
Some of these comments are nothing short of cruel.

I have no advice as I have no personal experience with MI but my DH was raised by a mother who suffered severely from MI. He learnt to grow up very quickly.
It's not his upbringing, his mother's MI and at times complete inability to care for him that has scarred him, but her suicide (he was not living with her at the time). It scares me that some comments on this thread could push pointless closer to this edge and I can guarantee losing his mother would cause this child much more pain than having ice cream for dinner!!

I'm appalled at some comments here but it's good to see pointless has more support than skeptics.

Personally I believe pointless 100% and believe she is very brave to share her story.

I am genuinely concerned of the potential impact of some posts. Should a mod step in and close the thread?

Have sent a request with the same concerns. She's really in a bad place at the moment, and she's already got enough exacerbating her situation.

some of the comments in here are, quite frankly, disgusting. pointless is no troll.

I suggest those who are unable to offer genuine support leave the thread immediately and/or refrain from posting.

@pointless1...hang in there...there are a lot on here who have faith that you can do this...that you love your son and are trying your absolute best to get yourself well so can be an awesome mum to your boy. If I lived nearby I would be happy to help...I sincerely hope you can get some help or strategies to overcome these problems soon xx
