Yes, that's correct my DS has been following the 5th percentile since birth. My child health nurse says this is perfect as it means he is growing steadily.

No. He's never been on the charts. He was and is a poor eater. But he's healthy . He just doesn't put weight on. We have seen specialists over the years and at 17 the pead said there's nothing we can do. It's just him. He wAs 6lbs 2 born 40weeks and had severe GORD and was in and out of hospital. but he's healthy just small. Everyone says he should be a jockey. He has that build!

My child is on the 3-5% in height & weight, she's 2. She's going on her curve, all tests she's had shows she's fine and nothing wrong. As long as your child is healthy and reaching milestones that's the main thing.

    I TOTALLY understand your stress.

My sons BMI is so low that when I plug it into a calculator it's says he needs medical treatment. He's 2.5. Very very tall and light and eats like a bird. I used to worry but he's happy and thriving and energetic.

It's amazing there is such a variation in children. Thank you all for the responses
