    My nephews went to pre school with a little girl named Haviana....every time the they would call her name (Havi for short) i would think of my thongs.....its different.

    Its a gorgous name
    We had it on our list for a girl

    And its generally pronounced different to the thongs

    I can't think of any other way to pronounce it.

    Keep in mind the thongs "name" is just that: a name it's just unfortunate for the people that share the name that the thongs are so popular lol

    Just keep in mind Haviana is a world brand and in New Zealand thongs are called jandles, and flip flops or sandles in most other countries!

    Once I met a family and I heard them call their son "Snik"???
    Not sure if I was wrong (I hope so) but I thought it was weird and wondered why did they have that nick name???
