Thanks for your well wishes girls. Instead of one incision I have three. My dr replaced my umbilical hernia mesh from 2 years ago with a larger 12cm one. Apparently the old smaller one had curled up like a used tea bag.
He cleaned up the area and my goodness am I in pain. Living on Endone. I'm being discharged late morning. Using my tummy muscles to get up to go to the loo is agony. I can't even imagine shuffling out of the hospital and into a car.
He said I'm fine to have my Hysteroscopy in 2/3 weeks and crack on with the next cycle. I'm so glad I've had it now. Presumably I would have required surgery while pregnant otherwise.
He also injected around my pubic bone with steroids to help get rid of my SPD pain from being pregnant with DS. Fingers crossed I get 6 months pain free like when he did it last time.
But right now all I can focus on is the fact that I need to sit up for a wee. Ouchyrama!!
PS: Tears. Morphine and anti-neusea meds now onboard. The acute pain is from freeing the hernia adhesions. I imagine it was quite a mess. Im staying standing until the Morphine kicks in!

Oh hon, like you, I'm glad it's all over and done with but I do hope you start feeling better soon. It all sounds like such an ordeal but yes, better now than when you are pregnant down the track. Big hugs to you lovely, and wishing you a speedy recovery.

I know that feeling. I'm on day 4 of endone. Get who ever picks you up yo bring a pillow. Then hold that against your tummy getting in and out of the car. Also put the pillow between you and the seatbelt as it acts like a cushion and help with the pain when the car brakes

ouch @Tahli, I hope you recover quickly. short walks is the best thing (around the ward), or at least sitting up, even with the pain. I hope they give you some pain meds to take home too.

Recover quickly @Tahli Dose up on the drugs and lay back and watch the Olympics.

Best of luck with your scan @Grace1
@pingc383 I can feel your frustration. Hopefully you get a few surprises once triggered.

I emailed the nurses this morning & confessed my scan with the sac seen. My FS is doing EPU's today so I don't know when I will get a result. Knowing my rebellious body my numbers will confuse them even more.
