If you get so much as a vague indication that might be about to happen, hot-foot it to the ED straight away hon.

Also, the following is a link to an article regarding ectopic pregnancy. Not that I am suspecting this is the case for you, but it might be useful to familiarise yourself with the symptoms just so you're aware of them should any arise. As you would know, ectopics need to be attended to quickly so better safe than sorry and have a read if you can stomach it

TBH I am hoping that stoopid woman just didn't know what the feck she was looking at, and your sac is just where you bl00dy left it!

Besides didn't you just go to see your GP for a check up and he insisted on the scan ( that is what you tell them). You need to tell them enough fluffing about you deserve an answer and if the sack was there then they need to look a bit harder for it. Gosh I'm getting mad on your behalf. You don't deserve this run around.

Adding on huge hugs you poor love. None of this is your fault either. xxoo
Yeah @Maxwellsmum good idea. Id be tempted to take it in and say, "i got me own scan coz you're frucking hopeless. Examine this biatch". An embryo implanted into the uterus cant then detach and move up into tubes can it? And they said they couldnt see it in your tubes anyway? So that doesnt make any sense. Im so incensed, if you give me the address, i will go there and burn that mutha frucker down! (Im all talk but im really angry. I think this is bordering on incompetence. If i was a lawyer id sue them for you for the mental anguish they have caused and ask for like, a bazillion dollars. )

Has anyone heard about pseudo sacs before?

When I MC'd they suggested that might be what I had. It wasn't, as it turns out, but from that meeting I remember them saying that about 20% of ectopic pregnancies have a pseudo sac present.

In it's early stages it looks, for all intents and purposes, like a gestational sac. The only difference is there is no fetal pole identified. It can be an early indicator that the true pregnancy (where the HCG is being excreted from) is somewhere else - usually within the fallopian tubes.

Pseudo sacs are located in the uterus and are made primarily of pooled fluids which can be can be reabsorbed by the body.

@Billie2, I hope that doesn't come across as insensitive. I apologise if it does. I'm just grasping at straws as to how a sac could just 'disappear.' I'd be taking a pic of your last scan and waving it in front of your sonographer's face and asking what the feck is going on. Big hugs to you hon

Lol, nor had I but I swear I'm telling you the truth, lol. It was last October so my memory is a bit fuzzy, but I'm sure that's what they said to me at the time.

ETA: The reason they told me that was because early on they 'suspected' I had an ectopic pregnancy. Then they 'suspected' a molar pregnancy.' Then they diagnosed me with a blighted ovum.

Just another instance of gross incompetence. I had none of those as it turns out, and once my D&C was done the results confirmed that there was indeed a baby, it had just passed.

@Blossom74 not at all. I love any information that could assist. Except you can clearly see something in my sack. One even shows a circle in there.. I may have to go back to the GP and see what he says. Because my beta did rise since that scan and todays scan. To be honest, I want to hide. I don't want to do anything. I want to forget what is happening.

I just did a wee and there was a tinge of blood which doesnt surprise me with a 45min poke, prod & jab session.

I cant have anything to calm myself as if I have to go to ED I have to drive myself as we have DS8. I dont have anyone to drive me. My sister is a ICU nurse at RPA and at work.

I feel helpless. Im angry and I have no idea how I am going to get through any of this. Im so scared of haemorrhaging and its enough to walk away from ttc forever. I dont think I can carry a baby. These 2 cycles have shown me. Im a bleeder and no one can tell me why. Why am I the freak with the million to one experiences. This isnt IVF, this is killing my health.
