@Tinachris yeah mate, its cheaper to go to athens/overseas. Insane but true. But i guess you also get a known donor included in that cost if you do it in australia.

At Monash, or at least with LB, you see her for initial appt's, & then WTF appts if there's a problem.. But that's basically it. I haven't spoken to or seen her since Feb. And technically I don't really need to Bcos she wrote up all my scripts & Med plan etc back then. So it's not like it's a huge problem as such.. But when you hear about other FS's doing lining scans, follicle scans, or just being easily contactable at any time- it's really different to what Monash do. Once u see ur FS the nurses are basically your contact after that.
Yep. I agree. Ive seen (skyped) and talked to FS dr.n in Athens now, more than ive ever spoken to my aus. FS. Lol, and i didnt cost me anything. Go figure?

It's great! If this works for us we will only be having one bubba (that's the official party policy at this point anyway. Hubby will get an email notifying him of any future changes to the legislation in due course ) But *if*m we do only have one, they will always be able to see and contact others they are genetically related to, and also have contact with our donor too. It gives me peace of mind to know they will always have that support.
Yes, my donor has a private facebook group too for her recips (she is up to 5 families now). Not everyone is on it as some people are more private than others but it's amazing to see the pictures of the donor conceived babies and hear how they are progressing.

@Charlie74 can you email LB? thats the one thing Ive loved about the private IVF world, being able to email the FS and ask questions. Its hard to remember to ask everything at an appointment. So excited for you too with your transfer, it HAS been a super long time

I asked if I could have luveris, but they said no and they don't care about the egg, they just need me to ovulate! I care so much about the egg because it's probably more likely to get me pregnant than their one protocol that they make did everyone...
    They're giving me pregnyl boosters..
ok pregnyl boosters are progesterone inducing - you either have pregnyl or pessaries/crinone. You can do both but the standard would be to do 1. Pregnyl tricks your body into thinking its pregnant and therefore means your body is tricked into making progesterone. I was once told that there is a slightly higher pregnancy rate with pregnyl. fwiw Ive always preferred it as its no mess and does the job. It also doesnt stop AF from coming if its a bfn. For me anyway. They are just focusing on the FET cycle not your natural one, thats what you're there for I guess.

and Yeah, Anthony Marren is another FS option - bongleys guy He's lovely and also works at RPA

well ladies Im signing out for the day and night as DH and I are going into the city for our early 10 year anniversary dinner and ritzy hotel! Going to cafe Sydney for dinner which overlooks the harbour (circular quay) and its a gorgeous day here today so I reckon the view will be at its finest! We decided to celebrate early as we will be in the middle of the cycle when the real thing is.

have a great day and @Tahli @Billie2 and @Lilym good luck!

@tuxcat he's going very well, putting on weight, feeding well. Keeping me up at night but that's to be expected! Hopefully we can make it to his first EDA meetup on sunday. I'm sick with a head cold but hopefully should be over the worst by the weekend.

You must be getting close too!!
