Gosh I've been off for a few days and need a massive catch up!

@Blossom74 good luck for your doctor apt, hopefully its nothing serious, they are very good at putting the fear of god into us. I remember having a load of STD tests some years ago now (long story) but when I rang up the receptionist told me I had to go in......all afternoon I was crapping myself I had HIV or something equally awful! I didn't...they were all clear!

@Caesardust glad your lining is playing ball this cycle, when are you flying out?

@midnite1 congratulations!! That's such good news to hear How are you feeling? Do you have to have the weekly bt's?

@Arianasmum and @Heyside congrats to you both on being PUPO, hope the 2WW is kind to you both and remember its completely normal to feel exactly the same and it still work! Are you on boosters or can you start POAS? Heyside, did I read that you got some frosties from this cycle?

@pingc383 day 5 embies being more at risk from miscarriage and pre-term labour??? Can't say I've ever heard that one before! Good luck with finding a FS that better fits your needs. Are you waiting for cd1 to start your FET? With pregnyl trigger and boosters?

@Billie2 I wish I could give you a hug, you are really having to go through the wringer with this one. I am so glad the bleeding has stopped and I hope that Thursday comes around quickly for you and can provide you with the answers that you and DH so badly need. Its awful when its not straightforward and I can only imagine how you feel.

@Maxwellsmum not long until Saturday! Its great that this cycle has finally worked out for you. FX this is it! Weird they asked you which one you wanted, my initial thought was did they mean GS too....just get them to pick the best looking at least fragmented! They'll grow it a bit more before transfer won't they so can see what (if any) chance it has gone through in the thawing process. How many embies did you end up with? Are they doing a DET? (sorry if this has been covered in previous posts).

@Tahli oh whats going on with your cycle, just when you think everything is sorted you have to get thrown a curveball. What Blossom said really if this is CD1 then I guess you'll have to work with it....is it easy for you to change things

@Bongley hi! How you are and little Alex going?

Hi @tuxcat, @winsor, @Green lady (how are you feeling), @BiB and @Charlie74 and anyone else I have missed

AFM I am fine, plodding along but a bit under the pump, hence not being on top of everyone's situations!

@Maxwellsmum yep this morning its dark brown spotting. Gone now. Only appears before lunch. I would hate to make a decision too. Thats their job. Unnecessary pressure.
    @Blossom74 good luck xx
@Molros that was me at mothers group with formula.. My little man was happier full on formula than screaming with half a mouthful of bloodied milk. I did both. You are doing a good job xx

I'm CD8 today. Doing bloods tomorrow and blood and scan on CD11. Hoping to trigger with ovidrel and do 3-day transfer probably next week and then those ghastly pregnyl booster shots... I used to, without fail, ovulate on CD11, but after my two failed cycles, I find myself ovulating on CD16... Weird..

Are you cycling/FETing this time round?
I'm due in December. On one cycle (resulting in DD) I remember not ovulating until day 20 and freaking out that my lining would be crap/too old and the whole cycle would be canned...they kept upping and upping the dose! I got to about day 15 an just stalled!

I did have a chuckle through as I did go into early labour at 33 wks which they managed to stop...is that cos it was a day five embie I wonder?!!!!!!

@Billie2 - my light brown spotting, which is still continuing on and off also only comes early in the day and then none for the rest of the day. It's like it lies there all night and then tips out in the morning when I start moving a round and have to get to work etc.
@Molros - I did both BF and formula - I had a starving baby at 6 weeks and changed over. It changed my life - suddenly was a much happier baby and mum.

How many do you have to do @winsor?
Where did you find your donor?
Is her cycle a full cost cycle?

@greenlady oh thank you soooooo much for that comment. Thats exactly what its doing. Nothing on my pad in the morning then by the time I get to work it feels wet. Then by lunch its gone. Its dark brown smudge on liner and wee is always clear. Hows that for a visual! May as well keep going, Im so bloated from the pessaries up the exit (Blossom isn't here its ok) I just want to let one escape and because Im on the train listening to music I may let one out and not even know. I am living the dream..

I think we do 2 sessions - one for DP & me and another with our donor, and she does one also. so 3 all up.
she's one of the amazingly generous ladies at EDA.
not sure about costs yet - have allocated full cost as I'm not sure about medicare rebates for donor cycles, so will find out more once we speak to the clinic

You might recall a while ago I was telling you all about how painful my joints were? It all started suddenly during my last stim cycle and since then my hips, shoulders and knees have been absolutely killing me. I'm not one to take painkillers but I've often found myself dosing up just to be able to get some sleep.

Anyway, last week I went to my GP and lodged a formal complaint Something along the lines of only being 42 and walking like a grandma! He ordered some BT's which I duly carried out, and said that if there was anything that showed up he would call me, but to otherwise not bother about making an appointment to come back.

So I got a call last week saying the Doctor wanted to see me. My appointment is at 3pm today Quietly crapping bricks.....
@Blossom74 i hope everything is ok lovely lady. Your'e prob still in the waiting room at the gp's if they run late like my gps do. GP called me back once about a mole on my back and i was like, "That's it. I have cancer n im gonna die". But i didnt. They just wanted to cut it out just in case. Everytime i get thirsty, i think i have diabetes. But i dont. Once i had a sore throat for a week and it just wouldnt get better. I went back to the gp, told him i might have ebola. He said, "have you been to east africa recently?" I said I hadnt. He said, "Then you dont have ebola." Its most likely, its something small/minor and most likely whatever it is, there will be something that can be done about it. And maybe, thinking like an ivf-er here, its better sometimes to find a problem than to feel like crap but they cant find anything wrong, so then you cant even begin to fix it and you know you're not a crazy hypochondriac (like me). Just trying to cheer you up by telking silly stories. But seriously, thinking of you and hoping its something which will help to stop you feeling achey and tired xox
