Last census it was also under "other" and people had to manually write in "Judaism" in order for their religion to count, so I think it's probably something that continues to be underestimated. Also, Judiasm is more than a religious affiliation, a lot of people who are Jewish would say they have no religion, so again, the figure is probably understated. Anyway, it's not a huge deal but It's slightly annoying lol

I won't be partaking in the census this year.
Not a fan of the changes.

I'm struggling to remember which site i saw it on (or maybe it was on the news?) but here's a link to one where a spokesman says fines are a last resort

Census 2016

This isn't the site I was reading which mentions nobody has ever been fined for misleading information but this one explains that you actually have until 23rd sept without a fine and even then they will actively work with you to help complete it.
To be fair, less than 100 fines for 20 odd million people is tiny.Last edited by Little Miss Sunshine; 06-08-2016 at 08:14.

What changes don't you like?
This information is how decisions on health and education services are made. It helps local authorities design water, sewer and waste services. It also provides valuable information on working mums, stay at home mums, family structure etc which are all used to inform government policy.
When governments don't know our demographics it's pretty hard to work out what services we need.
