Stretch and sweep and DTD same night 'pushed' the labour to happen with my first born.
I'm only 35 weeks but getting keen to start moving things along soon so these tips are good lol, probably should set up baby's room first!

Watch a funny movie. Lots of laughing could get things going.
With DTD, make sure your DP "finishes" inside you (there is just no lady-like way to phrase this lol). That's the key to DTD..

    Having said that..
I did all of that plus clary sage oil, long walks, bouncing on ball, cleaning the house like a crazy person, with both previous pregnancies and it still did diddly squat to get things going. I'm going to try and wait it out this time around.. I actually want baby to be ready, without my help. Famous last words, I'm sure! Lol I'll let you know how that works out for me in 13 weeks time lol

I believe if you stick some EPO up there it will have the same effect as DTD

    Isn't pregnancy just lovely?

Mum swore by hot cross buns- she went into labour on four of us after eating one.

Lol not sure I could get my hands on one. Bub is very engaged and the top of my belly is empty so hopefully it won't be long.

Default Help me get this baby out!

My magic formula is going for a nice long walk, find some stairs to go up and down a few times, (to get the baby engaged deep into your pelvis) go home and have a warm bath with a bit of lavender and clary sage (relaxing lavender allows your muscles to relax to help your cervix to open while clary sage promotes contractions), drink plenty of water throughout the day, watch a funny movie (you need some good belly laughs to kick things off) and then some home birth movies on YouTube (to get the oxytocin flowing). At the end of the day though, this baby is on its own schedule and all the natural induction methods in the world won't help if bub is truly not ready. Good luck!
