@Muchulu1 what a gorgeous pic, thanks so much for sharing! Congrats on making it through the 12 week milestones. So happy you've come back low risk.
@Gypsy37 wishing you all the best of luck for tomorrow. Have you got an early or late appointment? Got everything crossed for you.
How many weeks will you be?
And how bad are the supermarket chickens?!!!
@hopefull29 I think I'm also confident that with the vitamins I'm on my baby is getting the best of everything. If anything, we suffer more due to our diets with lack of energy. Our babies are all doing backflips and we're crashing on the couch
Yep so right, 2nd trimester will be the time to get back on track.

Is anyone really bloated? I look soooo much bigger than I did this time round...and with timehop and all those memory apps I'm getting pics of me at around the same point 3 years ago. Much flatter stomach!
Thought it could be because I stopped all drugs at 4 weeks. ??
    Progesterone bloats you i think.

@lotsathoughts Yes progesterone definitely causes bloating! I've noticed my bloat has started to ease since I've been weaning off the drugs. No doubt yours will too!

@Muchulu1 beautiful Hun. Congrats on getting to 12 weeks!! Such an achievement. How are you feeling? Have all your symptoms started to ease? Have you fully stopped all your medications now?
@lotsathoughts what vitamins do you take? I'm just on elevit at the moment. When I see my FS I'm going to ask her about calcium given my dairy allergy. Normally I'd get my calcium from green leafy veg and almonds but they've not been on the menu so much. In the past calcium supplements have made me feel a little off.
I'm super bloated. My jeans are getting tight already! My bloat will be caused by the extra carbs along with the progesterone. I feel like I look 20 weeks already. I've had to mix up my work uniform so I'm not showing my belly with my shirt tucked in.

@hopefull29 Starting to feel a bit better now. Still vomiting a couple of times a day but it's a big improvement!! I'm not complaining tho, all of my symptoms have been very reassuring! SO looking forward to the 2nd trimester! Definitely sensing that the nausea & fatigue will pass.
5 more days & I will be fully weaned off the HRT drugs !! OB says I will feel a heap better after that.

Speaking of calcium...your OB will most likely check your levels at wk10. They check vitD & calcium together. Often if your calcium is low it's because of low vitD levels & is best treated w vitD supplements rather than calcium. I had mine checked & my vitD was super low. OB had to prescribe compounded supplements . He said it's nothing to worry about in the first trimester just need to get on top of it for 2nd/3rd trimesters when baby's calcium needs increase.

@Muchulu1 wow, you will feel so much better in 5 days. Thanks for that info about calcium, I didn't realise they checked your calcium. I knew they checked vit d.

Ladies, I'm totally freaking out, I'm so anxious for the scan this afternoon I can't stop crying, and I stupidly did a POS and although it came out strong positive, it was lighter than last week where the pregnant line was way stinger than the control line- does this mean it's reducing? I read something about the "hook effect" after levels get to around 100,000 they can show lighter lines- I hope it's that. I just want everything to be ok so badly. I'm 39, u think my eggs are stuffed because the last 2 IVF cycles were a write off and if this doesn't work I don't now what I'm going to do. I wish DH was here, it's just too much.

@Gypsy37 ok you need to do something to distract yourself, are you at work? Can you go somewhere that makes you happy. Unfortunately you've had a rough trot and that adds to something that is already an anxious time.
From what you've said you s had a few symptoms, not wanting to eat and a strong sense of smell. All of these things are wonderful pregnancy signs that only occur once your hormone levels get high enough. Focus on those signs for today. Know that you've done everything you possibly can to make this work. And by tomorrow you will know that, hopefully, you have a little heartbeat going crazy in your belly.

Don't put too much weight on the POAS. Your levels have proven that it's beyond that.

You can get through today. Just take a deep breath, distract yourself and have hope in your little baby xx
