@Annerley I'm so sorry to read your sad news. I can't believe it, it must be such a shock for you. I was looking forward to sharing this journey with you as we did for our first little ones. Man, this sucks, sending you lots of hugs. So sad about the timing of dates.
    Really, really sorry xxxx

@Annerley oh no, that's so sad to hear!!

I was so lucky at my scan yesterday to get see the little heartbeat! I was 8+2 and the heart rate 160bpm. The sonographer is calling a girl already because apparently girls have a faster heart rate?

I even got a sneaky 3D photo, so cool!

Thanks again ladies. Unfortunately I've been sick again all morning. FS gave me the option of putting the procedure off til Monday but at this stage I think I'd rather get it over and done with.

Thats wonderful news @SurferGalGC I was sure DD was a boy as her heart rate was 130 at 8wks exactly and 157 at the 12wk scan. I wonder if the heart rate theory will be more true for you!

@Annerley, I'd feel exactly the same, but you want to be safe under a GA. Hope you're hanging in there xxx @SurferGalGC- that is wonderful news, congratulations, am so happy for you. I had never heard that heartbeat theory, will be interesting to see what transpires. I hope you're feeling good xx

@SurferGalGC how exciting!! I have a scan in a week but I'll only be 6+4 so I'm worried I won't see the heartbeat
