Default how many transfers did it take

Hey I am just curious how many transfers it took for you to get pregnant and what you think gave you the edge to get that elusive bfp.

    Thanks in advance : )

I was a one hit wonder our problem though was tubal and PCOS so actually getting eggs and then getting them out my lining is always good. Will be going round 2 end of October with FET as our daughter was born sleeping 6 weeks ago.

    Hugs @MaybeBabyIVF

It took 8 transfers (15 embryos) to get DS2. I have PCO and was older (39 when DS2 was born). My eggs were - according to Wazza - old and tired and we were getting pretty ordinary embies.

6 months before our successful cycle/transfer DH and I gave up all added sugar (we read Sweet Poison by David Gillespie). I truly think it made the difference. We went from embies which were at best BC and struggling to make blasto to AA hatching blasts.

Best of luck with your journey I hope it's quick and successful!

4 transfers for 2 pregnancies here. DD is 2 & DS due in October.
First clinic no success, new clinic 2 for 2 with 2 embryos still frozen.
The second clinic tested for immune issues - I came back positive for ANA and borderline for anti cardiolipin antibodies plus very low AMH.
They put me on DHEA + Estrogen for 6 weeks prior to my cycle, then used prednisolone & low dose aspirin after transfer.
They must have done something right from the success we've had.
I'd recommend to get tested for everything before cycling so you have all your bases covered. Best of luck! @MaybeBabyIVF I'm so very sorry for your loss.

DS was my first transfer, a fresh 3 day embryo.

I'm 29 weeks with our second. I did 2 FETs which didn't work, and my first fresh 5 day transfer from a new cycle resulted in this little one.

Yes fruit was fine. Avoided honey and the other so called natural sugars like rice malt syrup etc... Basically we kept to the rule anything that had over 3g of sugar per 100g was out. Other than fruit - which obviously has a host of benefits which outweigh its natural sugar content.

There are so many variables. I also had an amazing FS (Warren DeAmbrosis) who was willing to test for everything and throw everything at my cycles.

Ours took 4 transfers - 2 frozen 1 fresh then another frozen which was the successful one
We started low dose aspirin for the last transfer after some more blood tests my FS said my blood was a little 'sticky'
