Sounds like I've been living a similar existence to you guys.. the first two weeks I was boasting how easy this baby thing was... lol... I feel the baby needs change and I had no idea and was in prepared and consequently have been playing catch ups for a few weeks. DH and I spent last night studying YouTube clips on trying to understand what our baby is needing. And I found a great one that explains all the different cues. It's funny I had been confusing a tired cue with a cue of wind.. so no wonder we've been living a stressful few weeks. I was way unprepared for this mothering role. My pregnancy was swamped with work (self employed) trying to prepare for maternity break. It was hectic..I had intended on reading up on all of this once I started my break (maternity leave)..But Evie was born on my first day of leave.. so talk about a massive learning curve.. i hope you all get a more peaceful outcome as soon as possible and start to catch up on some rest. Here is the link to the video on baby cues that we have found useful. https://youtu.be/ve7yXXRaYT8 also Ruby recommendation of that app looks great also. I just downloaded that and I am thinking it's jackpot. Mostly because I have no idea on how long feeds should be, when to play, when to bath for optimal day/night differentiation. I only downloaded that app tonight but God what a relief to have a guide schedule to try to work towards. It all leads to this magical place of having a chance to get some decent sleep each night... I am hoping it works... good luck to all

H is 14 weeks old, approx 7.2kg. He is exclusively breastfed and we cosleep. He feeds every 2hrs, round the clock. He's just started batting and grabbing toys, and the last two nights he rolled on the mattress. He drools EVERYWHERE and can always be seen with a fist in his mouth. He is the apple of this mumma's eye.

My little poppet. She's been unsettled lately due to allergic colitis so we are working out what her triggers are so I can cut them out of my diet, but otherwise she's wonderful.

She's about 3.85kg now (was 3.24 at birth) and I'm starting to see her little mouth try to form a smile. She feeds 4 hourly and puts herself to sleep which is the absolute opposite to what DS was like, so I'm enjoying that although I would prefer a frequent feeder and sleeper that didn't have such a sore gut because it breaks my heart!
