So how will we know each other at the cafe on Friday? Just look for ladies with babies? I hope I don't walk up to the wrong group and ask if they are the BubHub IVF mothers group...

Need help ladies. I have had an hrs sleep in last 24 and since 1pm Abby has only really settled in last 2 hrs. She is windy, in pain, screaming and the only way she finally settled was to fall asleep on my shoulder then after an hr into the bassinet. Went to a quack of a GP yesterday who was no help. I am not coping with no sleep and seeing her in pain. Need advice. Who do I take her too, I can't keep going like this

@Pepper1977 do you have a child health nurse assigned you by your shire? They would have done a home visit or similar?

Pepper that's awful. Is there another/ better GP u can use? How old is Abby now? You can use infacol, gripe water, infants friend but you might need medical advice if she's under a month. Their digestive systems are so underdeveloped that they will nearly always have wind pain and reflux. Its awful to hear them screaming in pain too. Do you have someone who can come relieve you for a few hours so you can sleep?

Abby is 2 weeks is she? That is about the time they wake up and become less sleepy from memory. What makes you think she is in pain? Just asking because My sons cries at that age all sounded the same to me. It feels terrible when they are unsettled but sometimes things just pass without the need for medical intervention.Would you be able to see the child health nurse? I had nights like this and it felt terrible, made me feel like a failure and fear the worst but he grew out of it quickly @MrsTugs you beat me to it

The child health nurse told me to take her to a GP and could not get into my regular one. She is clench her stomach and bringing her legs up to her belly and grimacing. Am so tired and Hungry but can't eat. Got some family coming over today. Should I take her to the paediatrician she saw in hospital?
