Well it's been a while since I have posted, let alone even read anything! Sorry guys! Massive congratulations to anyone who has delivered their babies and hope mum life is treating you well!
Also hope anyone still waiting to meet their little one is going strong in their final weeks of pregnancy!
I was due on October 28th, however our little man had different plans!
I had been feeling less movement and just over 2 weeks ago felt nothing during the day so after trying to get bubs moving the hubby suggested we get checked out. All was ok, with a quick scan and seeing bubs move heaps... Thankfully we had a growth scan booked in already for the next day, so we were sent home!
The next day at our scan my husband said he could tell something was wrong but I was oblivious to it all.... We then had a follow up appointment after the scan and the doc informed us that things weren't looking good (in which I started crying straight away!). There was no fluid around bubs and the blood flow to the placenta wasn't good so we needed to induce that night!
Shock to the system but happy with all the timing.... Contractions started as soon as the balloon was put in, not to mention I was already 2cm dilated... The next day it all started happening!
Unfortunately they couldn't increase my drip fast enough as bubs heart rate would keep dropping, and the pain i was in wasn't helping either!
After my second epidural, as the first didn't work, life was good!!! Omg drugs were amazing... I was able to rest and regain my strength! Then by 11.13pm on September 30th, I was able to birth our little man into the world with only a minor tear! (The doc wanted to cut me but I was adament I didn't want that so she told me to push harder and I did! It's amazing what our minds can overcome!!)
George Maxwell, weighing in at 6lb1oz and 49.5cm, born at exactly 36 weeks! Insulin levels not the best but was brought under control easily!
Life is amazing being a Mum 💙
Good luck to everyone who will be labouring in the coming weeks. Xx

Congrats Tinker and Tassiewife!!
Tinker. Thanks for sharing your experience! Good to hear you are doing well now
2 and a half weeks in and I still have no idea what I'm doing! Lol!
MrsTugs and TTC - I have the opposite problem.. I always have to wake Lucas for his feeds. I even need to set an alarm during the night to wake him up. He feeds and then goes straight back to sleep.
Everyone says how lucky I am, but it's quite worrying and I never know if he is getting enough food, etc.
At the moment, I'm waking him every 3-4 hours.

Congrats to the new mummas! It seems we all like the drama in this group. I don't think anyone has had an easy pregnancy and birth but look at all these healthy little bubs!
Barca we were having to wake Austin for feeds too initially and he would go straight back to sleep but as he has gotten older, he has become more alert and screams like he's being hurt if he's hungry. I miss the sleepy bubby days! Hahaha! Now he sleeps well at night but catnaps during the day unless you're holding him which is lovely but sometimes I have other things I need to do. I definitely have a feisty little leo baby on my hands but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Just popping in to say my little girl, Elsie, arrived on the 4th of October. My waters broke at 8:15pm and she was in my arms at 10:35pm. I had an amazing water birth which was a wonderful contrast to the hot mess that was DSs birth. She is a precious little doll and compared to DS, the easiest baby! Hopefully she stays that way 😂
She was 3240 grams and 48cm long. ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1476456528.440841.jpg
