Hopeful I'd suggest looking into probiotics if you're going to be on extended ABs. Bubs gut health has a profound impact on his sleep.

@NORgirl haha you are right, I need a new name! I still am pinching myself he is here after 6 rounds of Ivf. Such a happy time

Thanks Mrstugs yep I got some probiotics. I can't believe how much better I feel on day 2 of antibiotics. Can't wait to feel back to normal or at least not in pain at every move.

@MrsTugs would probiotics work in general? Because Lachlan seems to have issues with his belly (reflux and wind).

Congratulations @Hopeful! Glad both you and Joey are doing well!

Sorry I've been MIA, the phone app won't let me post a reply. I can see everything but cannot reply.

Mona I've been using probiotics with Austin and it seems to help with his wind issues which he gets from ingesting air with his bottle feeds. Makes a difference!

Hey ladies so today hubby and i attended a wedding my mum was watching my 3 year old. Got a message mid way theough reception can you call me please.. phoned her and she responded with is travis with you (hubby) to which i nearly passed out from thinking oh dear they have a pool was there an incident they live on a main road did he get out the front? After a very serious conversation and a we will be there in 5 minutes from my husband i was informed my son attempted to eat a minion tic tac via he nostril and the thing became lodged quite tightly. So we had a dash to emergency as it was stuck well and good in the end it disolved enough to dislodge and go down his throat. Talk about panic stations

@MrsTugs @Peedypie @Hopeful37 are you exclusively breastfeeding? Because a lot of formulas already have probiotics in them. A2, which we top up with, does. Perhaps worth checking the label?

I'm bottle feeding but with expressed breast milk. I think the gold versions of formula have probiotics in them? There are lots of different strains as well. The ones we use have a lot of the different types and are stored in the fridge.

Hey girls just a tip on probiotics use biocuticals it's a powder you can add to milk or if breast feeding rub on your nipples and the baby gets it too... all the neonatal doctors swear by them and all pre term babies born before a certain gestation are on them... also we are on novalac colic formula which doesn't have them so add it in
