Default 14 dpo beta level 299

Just been to the doc and she gave me results from my blood test yesterday. Beta was 299 at 14 dpo. Does this seem high? I am 41 and have heard that this can mean higher chance of twins??

That doesn't sound crazy high. Mine was 3100 at 19 dpo, and I've only got 1 on board
