Ok getting a bit tragically obsessed. Came across a rare pokemon that I didn't have yet so I fed the berry and used a blue ball, captured first throw then it jumped out and ran away. I was in a cafe and almost jumped up to yell out "what more could have I done???" ... So frustrating!!

    Hahaha, I feel your frustration!

I just tried to take over the gym at the kids school and failed miserably :-(

Ok so I have a dilemma. I caught a wild Rhydon today:

I already have this Rhyhorn (Unevolved Rhydon):

The stats for the Rhyhorn are not far off the Rhydon and I only need one more candy to evolve him - which obviously I can get if I transfor the Rhydon. But should I? What do you think? I'm thinking to evolve the Rhyhorn I have as I think he'll end up with better stats.... So first world but help!!

Your ryhorn will evolve into 1000cp roughly. Definitely transfer the rydon then evolve.

Where do I get blue balls and Raspberries?
At pokestop I've been getting revive potions and repair ones. Why would they faint?

Sorry I'm not at your level!!

Wise they come at pokestops but you need to be a certain level to have unlocked them.
Pokemon faint when you use them to battle in gyms
