@kylez83 The first trimester really sucks the energy out of you. I had to have many afternoon sleeps during the first half of the first trimester. Don't worry you will regain that energy back soon!
How exciting about your wedding and dress shopping! Hope it goes well telling everyone
@loulou17 hopefully af doesn't show and you get your bfp! Enjoy your easter and have a glass or two you won't do any harm if you are pregnant.

@curlybird I'm hoping for AF to stay away! Will relax and have a couple of glasses tonight. Will probably take a test tomorrow morning. Hopefully we have some good news for Easter morning!

Took a test this morning, 12DPO and BFN. First month of TTC and I must say I feel disappointed. Oh well just part of the journey. Now to just wait for AF. Is 12DPO too early?

@loulou17 Sorry to hear you got a bfn
Everyone is different, i got my bfps at 11dpo but some people don't get them until 14dpo or even later. If AF doesn't show then maybe do another test good luck!

@curlybird I'm not going to lie I'm disappointed. I've had the worst cramps for a week, and just feeling off. Guess it was all in my mind. I think the first round of TTC it was bound to be a let down. AF isn't here yet, so we shall see.

Hi ladies I found this I posted it in the march thread last month but thought I would share it hear too

    (Copy and pasted)

If you are still getting BFN's but think you are pregnant read this!!!!!

I found this post and found it super informative. I love how she broke this down for all of you that AREN'T getting BFP at 10 dpo.

hCG doubles every 48 hours. You can have a level of 1 - 5 in a non pregnant state.

Implantation could belater than you think.

If a woman implants at 8dpo, with a 'non pregnant' hCG level of 1 it would rise as follows

    8dpo - 1miu hcg

    10dpo - 2miu

    12dpo - 4miu

    14dpo - 8miu

    16dpo - 16miu

So this lady wouldn't find out until 15dpo on a very senstive 10miu pregnancy test, superdrug own or possibly asda own. Obviously if she implants LATER than 8dpo she will find out even later.

    Now, Take a lady who implants at 8dpo, But has a'Non pregnant' hCG level of 5. Hers looks like this;

    8dpo - 5miu

10dpo- 10miu - Could find out here on superdrug own, internet cheapie

12dpo - 20miu - Could find out here with freedom cheapie strip/most poundland tests and asda own]

14dpo - 40miu Most tests would pick it up here

So, This lady, Even though implantation is on the same say for both ladies, Can find out MUCH sooner. Now, If this lady were to implant at 6dpo she could potentially find out at just 8dpo. But if the first lady were to implant at 12dpo, She would find out even later, Even if they have the same cycle and OV days!

@loulou17 It can take your body time to adjust to being off any form of contraception and in this time can trick you into thinking you might be pregnant. But for your sake i hope it is a bfp in the making!

@curlybird all takes time. I'm now 14DPO and 4 days late of AF. No sign of AF yet. Temp seems to be going up higher every day. Not sure if I should test again. I also didn't really know of the 'Confirm' brand of the last test I used. I have a First Response one I could use.

Oh the waiting game. Not sure what to do. After getting the BFN my husband and I have decided to relax a bit more this next cycle. Being the first time TTC we got a bit excited and thought about it too much. Still will take my temps, and I've bought cheap ovulation testers off eBay, but just relaxing a bit more about it and enjoying the process.
