Hi ladies I just want to check in to say hi and let you know that there might be something in supplementing with zinc. DP and I both started on it the last month before I got my bfp, and I just found out another friend who is 40 and has been TTC #2 for ages just got her BFP too and they had also started using zinc that month! Anyway can't hurt so worth a try huh? Xx

@rhee1980 were you taking a zinc supplement tablet? Any particular brand?
I have 5 more months of trying before off to see a FS so I'd really like to exhaust all natural options first

We were taking Thompsons brand but only because it was the best value for money haha! Apparently your partner needs to take it too as its great for both sperm and egg health
I was also taking a lot of other supplements: vitamin D, omega 3, CoQ10, Vit C, evening primrose oil, folate, and liquid iron.
Zinc and EPO were the last ones we started taking.

Still in shock. For some reason I am really scared that this is a false positive?? I don't why! Probably because I read the leaflet back to front and it mentioned the possibility of false positive that none of the other PG tests really mentioned. I entered to the practice nurse to get another urine test to confirm and she took one look at my FRER and said, congratulations, you're pregnant!

Oh wow!! That's a strong positive - goes to show that some brands of tests just aren't up to scratch!!
