Oh that sounds good! She loves to travel and loves good food as long as she doesn't have to cook it lol

Default Gift for friend in hospital

That sounds like something she would love! I think a gourmet traveller and gardening mag would be great

I'm unsure of a savoury snack I could add... I was thinking a packet of crackers and a nice dip but I'm not sure what dip (crackers would 100% be peckish lol)

I bought her some funny cat slipper socks (hopefully they post quick haha) just have to sort a bouquet of flowers and maybe a puzzle book and probably more cause I'm shocking lol

How about some fancy nuts? Macadamia, flavoured almonds, cashews. And mini individual cheese packs (crackerbarrel) with crackers, if she has access to a fridge.

Thanks littleriv! This is really helpful think I'm gonna have to rent a room just for things to take her!! Lol.
She is going to a private hospital through private health insurance so would that be more likely to get her a small fridge? I'm not sure. Might have to play it safe lol

Might be worth calling hospital to see if there are mini fridges?

Default Gift for friend in hospital

Some gourmet teas (if she drinks tea) so she can have a decent cup of tea.
Or alternatively hot chocolate and/or coffee.

    Scratchies (crossword type ones)

I was going to say slippers, but noticed you've got her slipper socks, which is a brilliant idea!

That's Life, Take 5 magazines (they have puzzles and lot's of comps to do).

And what a loving friend you are @Hasselhoff, I would be rapt with just one of your gifts, let alone a little box of treats.

Thanks everyone! I picked up a couple of magazines yesterday, I got Australian traveller, I couldn't find gourmet traveller anywhere , some gardening one I can't remember the name of lol and a take 5 pocket puzzler, a decided on a jeans for genes pen because she's big on charity got her some crackers and a dip. I'll be making her some truffles when DS is at day care or he will drool all over them lol
I did think of getting her some sort of coffee but she is very fussy with coffee lol
I'm still waiting for the slipper socks, hopefully they come in time! I bought them online. DF won't let me buy anymore lol he said we can see her and see if she would like anymore stuff.
I will be going to see the florist on Monday to organise something to pick up for her. She has said no one buys her flowers so we are getting her a big bunch I offered her my colouring books for awhile but someone picked her up some lol
She's a very on the go person so will get bored very quickly.
I will probably buy more haha
