    Default OPKs - never positive

Last month I tried OPKs but didn't start til CD16 and CD17 - both were negative so thought maybe I had left my testing too late.

This month I used an OPK on CD10,12 and 13 (today being 13).

I went off the pill at 4.5 months ago and my cycle length has been 28 days for the past 3 months.

I'm using Clearblue OPKs so I thought they would be quite reliable. Should I be worried?

I tested from early to late in my cycle multiple times a day and never got a positive. I'm pregnant for the third time now.

No! For a start, you haven't tested nearly enough. I used to test in the morning and arvo from CD 10 until I got my positive (normally around CD 18-20). Your surge can be really short lived, you might have missed it. Also as pp mentioned some people don't ever get a positive opk. No need to stress yet

Definitely need to test for a longer period of time... I started testing on CD8 & didn't get a positive till CD16/17 & was positive for about 3 days before it faded... It really depends on your 'LH surge'

OPK's are so tricky I think, I'm going to get a digital for next cycle to see if it narrows it down further for me.

    Good luck!

Thanks everyone for your replies. I tested again today and I went from negative to peak overnight. Totally jumped the gun
